Nothing new to this coin, if you have extra hash power, you can mine this coin for the future, but the price won't be very high, there is no reason for better price.

For anyone who needs help on getting setup, this is a good guide: http://labbinarymining.com/how_to_pinkstarcoin.html
Or there's a video guide here: http://labbinarymining.com/gettingstarted.html

I have an R9 290 mining at 670H/s which is considered a High Hash Rate, so use port 7777 if you're getting something similar.

I have an average off 200-400h/s (depends a bit on what I'm doing on the computer Cheesy)
Currently I am using low level port.
Do you think I should switch? Also what would be different if I would use a high power port?

You can check you exact H/s if you press the 'H' key on your motherboard whilst you have the XMR miner running, the website isn't accurate. It should look like this: https://i.imgur.com/SnGZwka.png
But at 400H/s I suspect you should be on the medium (5555) port. You can ask them directly http://labbinarymining.com/contact.html I did on discord, and they told me to set it to High.

No idea about what the difference between the ports is though.

I notice on this coin that when the network had a sharp jump in hashing power, the blocks freeze up.

Is this a feature built into the code to protect the network from attacks or is something wrong here?

For instance.. in the last few minutes the nethash jumped by over 300KH and after this their are no blocks for 12 minutes..

Hash Rate: 536.91 KH/sec
 Block Found: 12 minutes ago
 Difficulty: 32214419

It is an implementation of the cryptonight code to prevent attacks, everything is OK Wink

Well I am using Claymore Cryptonite Miner so I have to press "S", but it should be pretty much the same Cheesy
Yes I do also think so, if you with 700h/s gets a high port I should be somewhere in the middle.
Will change the port and see if it makes any difference for me.

What exactly was the reason that XMR price shot that high? It wasnt even the first cryptonight coin.

If you are a professional web designer and want to be part of the Pinkstar team, contact me. The site to be created will have a section that in the future will allow individuals and companies to sell their products and receive payments in PNKS.

Getting 'Failed to validate block' errors when running  daemon, when running simplewallet, 'failed to query out dated pool transaction: Nodecategoryerror:3, network error'. These apps were running some days ago, today they failed. Any suggestions?

For the creation of the website with email hosting, the reward is 1000000PNKS and each month you receive 50000PNKS, you have to wait for the logo contest to end. The site will be a simple site, the shop will be created later and will be detached from the main site (there will be another reward for this). If you give me confirmation, I reserve the creation of the website for you

If it doesnt workout, i would position me as a second option (for hosting the website etc).
I have some knowledge in web hosting. Also i'm a senior web developer with main focus on php. Not into creating designs, but doing everything from infrastructure, backend to frontend.

I'm interested in joining the team as a web developer.
