If other coins do not keep improving, eth will be probably starting to consolidate as a business and utility platform and at some point overtake bitcoin.
I do not think that ETH can catch up with BTC. This coin has always been and will remain in the second place. Technologically this is an excellent coin. But large investors are more likely invest in BTC, not in ETH. I think that this year the price of ETH will multiply several times and MAYBE it will surpass BTC capitalization for a very short period. |

At the moment ethereum has passed the 1000$ limit. what will happen at the end of 2018. will it passed the Bit coin ?
Mid of December 2018 Eth might be 4000$ if you buy now then keep on hold till dec of this year ! then it will be 3x for sure ! Happy Trading Thanks Regards |

At the moment ethereum has passed the 1000$ limit. what will happen at the end of 2018. will it passed the Bit coin ?

i think we will se an massive boom end of this year...
cant say who will be the winner , btc eth or any altcoin alternaive.
but as i followed the last year it was an huge down until april after that everything went big up....

most likely at the end of the year could be more than 2500 $ but could also before the end of the year. this is just a prediction because no one can predict exactly when the increase happens, we would all hope that the increase could happen quickly.  |

I am not sure that ETH can reached to $5000 in this year. possible increase to $5000 if the price of bitcoin is increase to $20.000 too. |

Not in 2018, it is too early for ethereum to approaches bitcoin price, might be in the next 2 years. Bitcoin still too strong for any other altcoins, there are many people knows bitcoin than altcoin this is the main reason that bitcoin are the strong contender.

Maybe the price will not be much different from previous years, can take a possible doubling of the current price at the end of the year. It is difficult to predict because sometimes this all coins price was falling and not everything is stable.

I think Ethereum is good at everything, though. And if the volatility in the price of Bitcoin stops, the capital can flow to Ethereum. In this case, the balance of the market may change completely.

the good thing about ETH is, it is a developing technology. Any innovations mean a good chance to increase its value. So there is a good chance ETH may x4 its price atleast this year.

I believe that ETH will reach more than our speculations. It has also good potential just like bitcoin. We're just in the first quarter and there are more things that are yet to come so there is nothing to worry about. Just like btc, I believe that it will also rise it's value on the third and on the fourth quarter. |

all the issues about the two said coins must be resolve first before we can make good speculation,since both of them are going thru lots of un solved issues.i am a supporter of this great coins,as they are both first in my porfolio but i want to make a proper stand on my outviews.
What resolve that you are trying to say above? Can you explain more specific view? If you know that both coin is very profitable then we dont need to be doubt again about that both 2 coins. Just be ready that those both coin will give us high profit. |

I believe that ETH will reach more than our speculations. It has also good potential just like bitcoin. We're just in the first quarter and there are more things that are yet to come so there is nothing to worry about. Just like btc, I believe that it will also rise it's value on the third and on the fourth quarter. Ethereum is a great altcoin that had a great potential to growth and will give you a big profit. Last year the performance of Ethereum was truly believe because of rapidly rising and I believe it too he can reach more than of our speculation. |
