It seems to be back now, not sure if I was paid for the time it was not displaying but I think it might have. I know my miners seemed to continue working.

Are you sure it is OK now? I am trying to access it from Europe:
http://kotopool.work/

and page is still down.

Regarding your question - just see your miner's historical graph when you click on it and you will see if you have mined during the downtime. If mined (which I highly doubt), you will be paid for sure.

not http://kotopool.work/
just https://kotopool.work/

The grue lurks in the darkest places of the earth. Its favorite diet is adventurers, but its insatiable appetite is tempered by its fear of light. No grue has ever been seen by the light of day, and few have survived its fearsome jaws to tell the tale.

Thanks, with https:// it works like a charm. So maybe the pool just applied SSL, hence the downtime?
Has anyone checked the miners historical hashrate and the payouts received during the unavailability period?

Unfortunately, the difficulty became too high, the coins were mined out less and less.  Sad

There's no way I'm using Jambtc... I've got about 6100 KOTO that I'd like to get rid of. If you're interested in it, PM me a serious offer.

Just an FYI.

The pool us.kotopool.work looks to need some attention.

The pool stats page shows that on block 124171 "446 of 100"  and block status is "pending"

Huge shares are stacking up.

This coin need better exchange listing. jambtc is risky for many people.
Why jambtc exchange is risky one? Please explain a little bit more and give me evidence if you had. Thanks.

Every new exchange is risky. Also the operator of the site said he holds over 300k Koto, so he could be waiting for a possibility to dump his Koto. You can check his posts on Discord, he doesn't seem like a person who I want to be watching over my Koto.

JamBtc is a real exchange. JamBtc is not malicious. If you think JamBtc is a trick, please submit evidence

The simple reason is because it is one of the few coins currently that you can mine at home with your PC/laptop/whatever and then if a by some chance this coin makes it, you can cash it out.
I mine heavily Koto, however to be honest, having in mind the huge premine, the lack of any info from developers and a clear roadmap, I think all would go in vain eventually.

The road map is the best path for a project, maybe for the coin as it does not really need it, the important thing dev gives a clear explanation that alone is enough to give a good view for the future.

Hey, do you mean that you have read/accessed somewhere infro from Koto developers recently? It would be cool to share. I know that they are available, but I personally can't follow the Japanese discord/discourse Sad, hence I rely on this forum here. Thanks a lot.

Novaexchange resumes work !

here is their  e-mail :

----------------------------------------------------------------
Last year, we made the tough decision to close down Nova, because it was growing so fast that we could not keep up and run the service in a proper and secure way.
But, we never stopped looking for a way to keep Nova in business.
We are very happy to announce that we have found new owners, that have the resources and the experience it takes (6+ years in crypto) to provide even more excellent service to you all.
All you need to do to keep using Nova, right now, and later on, is to log in and approve the updated Terms of Service, here https://novaexchange.com/
------------------------------------------------------------------

Perhaps they will want list KOTO ?

Have you planned to list your coin in the stock market yet? And if have, can you reveal more information about it?

Private currencies have great potential, especially those based on the solid foundation of zcasch.

So I dared, I traded on jamBTC. Everything worked well, the customer service reply very quickly (on QQ, a Japanese messenger). Reminder: do not leave a large amount on exchanges, use your desktop wallet! Good trades.
