Hi! I find this project very cool. Is there any detailed/explanatory guide how to CPU-mine with UbuntuVM?

Thanks in advance!

clone this git repo

https://github.com/JayDDee/cpuminer-opt

cd cpuminer-opt
./build.sh

OR

./build-allarch.sh

then run it, cpuminer -a yescrypt -o stratum+tcp://POOL:PORT -u KOTOADDY

They ran away with everyone's crypto. Was only to be expected but I still sympathise with those who were affected.

Jambtc scammed everyone, I was right  Cool

https://www.jambtc.com/

Ample warnings were given about this exchange.  Admittedly, I did use it a bit.  Feeling fortunate that I lost only a small amount of Koto.

Hope none of you here lost a lot.

I expected something like this from this exchange, and therefore I'm just waiting for listing on a larger exchange.
My regrets, for those who lost their coins.

Hello!

Please, can anyone comment kotod.exe output?
Local Hash - is it mining? and when some coins will happen? Smiley
I suppose to my first wallet.
Validated transactions somehow paid?
And what is Equihash solver runs?

Thank you in advance.

           Block height | 154558
            Connections | 8
      Network Hash rate | 13984479 H/s
        Local Hash rate | 247.3330 H/s

You are mining with the default solver on 1 threads.

Since starting this node 37 minutes, 16 seconds ago:
- You have validated 5212 transactions!
- You have completed 0 Equihash solver runs.

You're mining with only one CPU thread. The option, genproclimit, determine the number of thread for mining.
I recommend you to mine at pools. Your hash rate is so low that it. needs approximately a month or more for first yay!!

I'm ready to offer a your coin listing for 0.2bts.    (with pair to BTC, LTC, DASH, ZEC, DOGE)
I wrote to a @KotoMarketingTeam yesterday, but he has not answered yet.
maybe it is not necessary?

maybe just too much the cost of listing for a little-known and short-lived exchange?  Smiley

This coin need better exchange listing. jambtc is risky for many people.
Why jambtc exchange is risky one? Please explain a little bit more and give me evidence if you had. Thanks.

Every new exchange is risky. Also the operator of the site said he holds over 300k Koto, so he could be waiting for a possibility to dump his Koto. You can check his posts on Discord, he doesn't seem like a person who I want to be watching over my Koto.

JamBtc is a real exchange. JamBtc is not malicious. If you think JamBtc is a trick, please submit evidence

Anyone have the real name / email (hometown very helpful) of the perp?
I didn't lose a lot of coins, but I have friends in Law Enforcement in China.

It looks interesting. But I think max supply is too high

I think China will soon become the leader in the crypto-currency world and will overtake the USA

Hey, I have an idea!

PROOF-OF-WORK DDOS PROTECTION

Say, you have a website that is being DDOSed. Instead of CAPTCHA, you can put a script on it to mine some Yescrypt coin (CPU-only) shares before opening access to the site (or do other things needing spam protection). Of course, you can adjust difficulty depending on DDOS volume and your greed.

For a normal user this will take a few seconds on an average PC. No more annoying CAPTCHAs, just wait a bit. For a DDOSer this will be a pain. Moreover, DDOSer will mine coins for you! DDOS will give profits to website owners, with no more paid subscription to Cloudfare.

IMHO this idea will lead CPU altcoins to the top!!!
