Ethereum I think because it has a lot of successful ICO. I could buy more ETH if I want too but I have a signature campaign to work for it and if the token release in the market I could sell some and get ETH. btw.. ETH value will skyrocket |

I think it's too early to talk about the king of the crypto currency at the beginning of the year. In our time, a lot of new crypto currency is created and therefore it is difficult to determine. Also Bitcoin if they found a solution for the aclual situation ( slow transactions and expensive fees )

I am also rooting for ethereum bit I'm a bit sceptic on the upcoming regulations about ICOs. They are the pillar of inovation but are at risk because of all the scams that happened in 2017. :/

Ethereum rapidly increase as we compared it last year. I think it is time for the ethereum to move up than bitcoin. I guess also that the price of ethereum will continuously move upward that will lead it to the top 1 in list of cryptocurrency. |

I think that altcoin will take the lead in 2018 is Ethereum. ETH is going through tremendous growth and I think that in 2018 ETH will have a lot of leaps and bounds. This is evident when the ETH is constantly increasing in value despite the dramatic decline in the market, which reflects the position of ETH in the community supporting it.

ETH ofcourse. Eth will soar high in 2018. Even though there are a lot of competetion but eth will take the lead. It has a lot of successful ICO also and it has high demand in the market when it comes to trading. I agree with some that it is too early to decide but eth is hardly to be beaten by any cryptocurrency. But let see, they will keep us posted,

This is undoubtedly the easiest question someone asked me this year. Bitcoin of course. Even though it is indeed getting a lot of hate, it still has a huge community behind it backing it and a lot of serious people involved. I see people say ether here, ether has it's own place but it's not number one, at least not for now.

What do you mean with a "big hit"? Are you realizing that bitcoin has been increasing a lot during the last few months? i can not understand why there is a lot of people still complaining about what is really happening on the market. Came on people, do not be so rude.. Bitcoin will keep going up, only that we do not even know when it is going to have another huge spike like it had before, during the last month.. |

Bitcoin is still crypto king no doubt about that because in coinmarketcap bitcoin is still on no 1 spot and also, in price bitcoin is still largest and ETH cap is only half of the bitcoin's capitalization although as a bitcoin and eth holder i am happy to see my investment on ethereum has rising but it will no the same as bitcoin and i think no one will achieve bitcoin did.

It will still be bitcoin as king of cryptocurrency, eth is still years away from stealing the crown.
Though we cannot remove the fact that ETH can be a threat to overcome bitcoin. But since bitcoin is still the store of value of all crypto, it will be hard to beat bitcoin.

I'm going with BTC still. Once BTC has eliminated the long transactions times and the large fees by using the LN, it will win easy over all coins.
