I really love to see bitcoin in action where some entities are accepting it as payment for their goods or services. Transaction may be fast and convenience is guaranteed on both ends but i just wonder how they will handle the payment if this entity will go offline.

This is how bitcoin nowadays are commonly use as payment in other fast food chain who are accepting payments by using bitcoin digital money currency. Like KFC Canada they accept bitcoin for payment in fried chicken.Through this success and convenience payment transaction we all hope that a lot of fast food chain and restaurants accepted also bitcoin for as  payment.

Its good initiative by KFC, Now even there small bucket of fried chicken will give more returns from last fiscal year

Fried chicken chain KFC Canada is accepting bitcoin – for a limited time and for a cryptocurrency-themed bucket of chicken, that is.

The limited-time marketing move sees the Canada-based chain advertising "The Bitcoin Bucket" complete with a Facebook-based live-tracker of the standing price for the product, which works out to roughly 20 Canadian dollars depending on the exchange rate with bitcoin.

That said, you can't exactly walk into a KFC location in Canada and pay with crypto at the cash register.

Instead, the company is accepting Bitcoin via BitPay as one of the options through an online check-out page. The Bitcoin Bucket will be delivered directly to the customer's address (the product also carries a $5 fee), according to the check-out process on its website.

This is really a great news for people like us in the crypto world. I'm quite jealous of the canadians they got to try Crypto KFC before I did. Anyway I think this is a first step to pave the way to a future where crypto is the king of payment.

I think the idea is cool, but the performance is lame. Was the survey conducted on the target audience. Consumers of the wings of Colonel Saunders have bitcoins generally?

I can not imagine what it would be like if we were starving and we had to wait for the conformation of the blockchain. then the food we ordered we can not enjoy yet. maybe this will be very inefficient.

Now that is some good news we need to share to others. I can imagine myself buying chicken with bitcoin that is so cool. This is a good move for kfc adapting to changes and I think some other food chains or other local businesses will follow what kfc did. Hope we can see more businesses accepts bitcoun as well.

Wow that is definitely awesome. Now I can go to kfc, order myself some fried chicken and pay with bitcoin. That is the future there everybody. Slowly we are coming closer to seeing bitcoin go side by side with money as a mode of payment that is commonly used. Hope not only kfc but other businesses will follow and start going with the flow.

It was definitely cool, how are wish in my country KFC would accept bitcoin too because I'm a chicken lover and I used to eat in this restaurant. And it could be also a good indication to the world of bitcoin itself it making bitcoin known by a people who used to eat in KFC.

Surly? That is the happiest moment for all of us if this news is true then i according to my idea bitcoin will reach near to the time that countries will start legalization of bitcoin because if bitcoin is started to accept as a payment then countries will give favor to bitcoin because every country can choose rules and regulation according to the public of that country.

in the future, when bitcoin is approved in many countries, I am sure that we can buy something with bitcoin and not just for buying KFC. I am waiting for this moment because I can try to use my bitcoin to buy something in my real life or by delivery order. there will be another company that will try this too and I am sure that this will make easy for the customer to order their want and pay with bitcoin.

Good thing that there are businesses accepting btc as payments. Seems BTC is already getting its roots stronger on many businesses. But in this case the value of btc changes so quick. So the price maybe vary in every minute or seconds.

It is nice to know and to hear when bitcoin was being used in different aspect of businesses such as like this KFC, How I imagine if all fast food chain will accept bitcoin as payment, isn't its a good idea and good advantage for us if that happens.

If I understand this correctly, this was just a trial run and not something permanent. I am very curious what the end result
of this experiment was. If you believe the Reddit comments, then this was a huge success, but I have no way to validate
these comments. Can someone in Canada approach them to find out if they are going to do this again and if it was a
successful experiment? {Most people are saying it was a publicity stunt?}  Roll Eyes

Yeah, it was a one week trial end it has ended 5 weeks ago.
And if you went by the Reddit comments it depends from what sub. If crypto related, then of course it was a success, look at people here still praising it and not even having a clue what that was about.

You could easily drop them a message on FB
https://www.facebook.com/KFC-1557202627904490/
They were pretty active posting comments and replying in that period so they might answer you.

ps.
Damn fb has a habit of changing the page to your local kfc, so the link above might redirect you away from Kfc Canada.

It was a very good news that canada's kfc is now accepting bitcoins as a payment method, it only means that cryptocurrency is slowly being accepted to the community due to the increasing amount of investors in the market.
