All Crypto currencies are very secure and it is not easy to hack any one of them. The main problem is time and resources required to hack blockchain technology. This is the reason why only agencies like FBI can hack or trace back them.

Either the exchange gets compromised or wallet due to the stupidity of owner. As far as Ethereum future is concerned, it is a bright one but it is going to take ages before Ethereum touches 10k dollars.

Anything can happen. ETH --> $0 is also possible. ETH ---> higher price than it is now is also possible. The thing is who can predict the exact future? In my opinion each person needs to do his homework before investing.

Ethereum for sure will be worth $10k in the future but the question is when will it reach that amount? I think it is still struggling to increase a huge rise on its market price because of bitcoin too. Based on my observation though, altcoins still depend on bitcoins price so no matter how much they try to increase its value, bitcoin will always cause or serve as a barrier for the increase.

Not sure about the time frame but it will happen one day but not just this year because eth is too stable am even surprised that bitcoin cash has a better price than ethereum inspite being around for a longer time in the crypto business.

If you follow the uptrend from Ethereum chart 📈 from January 2017 till now, you will see that ethereum as done nothing less than x110 of its current value as at 1st February 2017.

However, should ethereum repeat this feet in 2018 then it will be $132000/eth in twenty 2019.

Calculation:
1st February, 2017
Ethereum Price/$
1ETH = $11

10th January, 2018
Ethereum Price/$
1ETH = $1200

$1200/$11 = x109.091

If continue this uptrend in 2018 of which as started already and return another x109.091 by January, 2019. Price/ETH will be $132000/ETH.

I think if happened last year, it can happen this year, buy at least 1 ethereum and hold.

Very optimistic forecast, but who knows, everything can happen. Here, almost everything depends on Bitcoin, if we look at the dollar rate, such a forecast of 99% that does not come true, but $10,000 is quite real this year.

I can see Ethereum @ ~4000$ this year, sounds realistic to me, but it also depends on the development team behind Ethereum since they have to find some good solutions for optimization.

Previously, people have heard only about bitcoin and if they wanted to invest, they bought it, now Ethereum, ripple is also heard from people and they think that bitcoin is overheated and the price is so high, so they invest in Ethereum or riple, realizing that in the long term will earn more.

The reality of this $10k aim is not bad but the question is the timing as you suggested there. If the market trend doesn't turn back to old positive days, $10k will still happen, but this will take crazy amount of time surely.

With unlimited emission it will be for Ethereum hard to reach 10k, and there a lot of competitors emerge on the market. I think we will see 2k this and it will be historical high.

For etherium to reach $10,000 you would have to have a lot of buyers...Maybe it will get there but you would have to have huge upgrades to the network and new apps using the etherium network. If bitcoin gets to $20,000 this year I can see etherium at $2,000. looks to me that the market gives bitcoin a 10-1 ratio advantage. Anything more than $2000 is just gravy...

This is quite possible, but you should understand that this requires a multiple increase in capitalization: x10 minimum.

If ETH price will be 10k$, cap should be ~1kkk!

I dont think ETH will worth 10k$, just imagine the transaction fees, and how it would limit dApps.. However if it would move to Proof of Stake instead of Proof of Work, I can imagine a price increase.

When Vitalik announce the development programme going behind we will know where we're going but am sure ETH will be very close to the predicted amount if not up to it. Fingers crossed
