Comic books, do you read them?

I'm going to guess that due to the nature of this forum, there will be a lot of comic book fans.

What I don't get is how they've managed to absolutely dominate Hollywood when I genuinely have never met a single human being who reads them.

Everyone knows Superman. I doubt 99.85% of my fatherland's population would've had the slightest clue who Doctor Strange was before he was shoved down their throats.

I've attempted a few but it's never going to be a medium that'll ever work for me. And when I look things up on Wikipedia I start getting a headache trying to wrap my head around Logan being in Hell after having died 762 times before he was born, but that's before he splits off and becomes 17 different bus conductors who all turn on him or something.

Are you voracious consumers of them? If you do, do you have the slightest clue what's going on in them most of the time?

i used to read horse comic books when i was younger. In germany they had one called 'wendy'

Yeah.. I remember I was in Spain and bought a comic book there about Hitler's life. It had swasteeka on the cover. My Dad saw it on my bed once and was really alarmed, ran up to talk to my mom and didn't even ask me.. but it's just a comic book, Dad lol

Yes, when I was younger. But now I watch youtube for the anime or movie and also manga online just like the comics.

Yes, i read comic books back when I was a kid specially comic books about superheroes with super power. But now what i read are newspapers , periodicals and novel books sometimes.

Reading comic book now! oh not really... It is not like that I don't like comic books or reading comic books. I really like comic books a lot. It is just covering up with the time thing. When I was a child I always read comic books even in the time of study. But now, not really. But I still like to watch animation/comic films. And I also like super hero movies

yes i love to read comic books because its elevated my thingking and reading. My favorite story is spiderman. Reading comics is not only a way to expand your understanding of these stories, but a unique medium by which some of the greatest stories get told.

im not read the comic but i read manga . its similiar like comic but thats in japanese .
but same with different concept .

no, i do not read comics because i think reading comics is just spending time, i prefer reading novels and history books because it is fun for me and useful

Comics, I read in childhood, then I liked them. But now they do not cause me any interest.

I have a couple of boxes full of comic books when I was a kid. There's just so much to do that I can't get into reading them. Just being an adult and stressed out. If I become successful in this Bitcoin thing, then hopefully I can sit back and relax.

Yes, I enjoy reading comics, I think reading comics better, plugging my eyes into electronic devices, reading books is good for our health and helps us relax, now reduces readership. since they have smartphones

I read the comic book regarding the beginning of the universe. It was good story. That was a long time ago.
