etherdelta has been too slow after the hacking incident. This is especially true for loading the volume and the order book. The order book takes forever and at least a couple of tries to load. This has been happening ever since they were hacked. Ever since they have a new CEO, they introduced new fees (take out on our tokens) and the site is way slower, and they were hacked. Time to fire the new guy and rehire the old guy

Same here. Loading time could be long as few minutes and this is to regular tokens. If I try to open market by contract address, most of time I can't.
It's time to move to IDEX or other decentralized exchange!

Check my signature - ADAE will try to make one of the best exchanges around.
Their WP is very good written and I believe ADAE will come up with a very good exchange very fast after the ICO.

You are so rigth . I couldnt reach website for 10 minutes at least. When I want to withdraw my tokens it take so much time like 2 days. How much do you give gas price ? I paid 21 gwei and my transaction didnt succes 24 hours.

after being hit by hacking i think my signal is problematic. it turns out all that experienced by people who use the exchanger. whether it will run long ? if yes it might be looking for a faster and more stable exchange place. I think it's a boring obstacle to me.

After hacked of etherdelta i did not try to trade few days . yesterday i tried to sell some token but i was really surprised by ED. slow loading , fees high and if i send eth to my wallet etherscan shows eth balance but etherdelta not show balance . then i wait for 15-20 minute then try to sell the token ,

EtherDelta was always extremely slow for me.  Always took about a minute to load before.  Now, it is completely unusable.  I waited 3 minutes and nothing ... waste of time.

Speed depends on the time of day probably. Its slowest i believe during peak north america hours (whatever that timezone is).
My etherdelta loads same as before meaning slow but manageable.

My main thing about etherdelta is the high fees. Everything move costs maximum gas fees of which I believe etherdelta pockets some. High fees + slow loading? Something has to change.

This trading exchange is not the best on the market, the interface is so slow and the platform is not so great, from my point of view.

Does Etherdelta have any way to fix this?  I assume it is so slow is because it is having to pull a huge amount of info out of the block chain, seemingly for every token it supports.  As Etherium grows in both use, and number of tokens, a system like this will become even more bogged down.  Etherdelta may need to reinvent itself and use a different style of exchange.

Even YoBIT was a lot faster the other day. I had some ecash tokens and because of darn etherdelta, I could not sell them when they were worth a lot of money. Now their price is low as heck. Anyways, let that be a lesson to me to never to use etherdelta again unless I already have the tokens in there.

Guys, do not use etherdelta anymore, they are far the worst exchange that has ever existed, and it is not safe at all, you can easily be hacked if you do not have your private keys in there. Just try to avoid it as much as you can.

Well said, Etherdelta would supposed to be the best Cryptocurrency exchange especially for ERC20 tokens and coins because it is indeed the most reliable exchange since 2016 based on my experience but started last December until now they're actually fucked up and the current CEO and developers aren't managed good development from recent attacks and now it became worst. Somehow they missed something else.

Yes, they work very long and all the operations go wrong: (which is very frustrating to work with them I hope that they will fix everything and everything will work as before!

I agree for now but I don't really think it will be forever because Etherdelta is in their position for the recovery of their reputation and would likely to speed up their services and will put back out trust them again.
I believe Etherdelta have skilled developers that could beat up attacks on the future and still I'm not closing my door on Etherdelta just because of some failures recently.

This. I belie etherdelta just got hit with more traffic then it can handle. When you add to that the ETH network congestion and high fees if you want to speed up your transactions. You are in for expensive and often frustrating experience.

Etherdelta's slowness isn't solely originating from itself. Cos ethergas (gwei) is constantly changing and becoming unstable, the processes are very struggling. Of course EtherDelta has many problems but obviously it doesn't give much confidence in other alternatives.

Bumping this thread because I noticed to today that Etherdelta was loading very quickly.  Fastest I've ever seen.  There is about a 5 second delay for the DDoS support, then about 5 seconds to load.  Used to take 30-60 seconds.
