Its all spam and trash content and its even worse if the person is a youtube partner. They get paid to post trash on youtube.

What do you expect with a lot of teenagers and other greedy people in the community, and then you have exchanges that does refferal programs? What do you expect to come from this.

mtGox does not have a refferall program. All what this does is to make bitcoin sounds like a scam and fraud to the general public, all because TradeHill and bitcoin7 want to make money so bad that they use such schemes to advertise their business.


It would be a lot better to make a good exchange and provide good service, and then have word of mouth take care of the rest.

It's a classical way for pyramid schemes to use refferal links.

Anyone using refferal links in an unethical way should at the very least have their accounts banned for say a couple of weeks, or have all their previous refferal sign ups bonuses set to zero.

And who on earth uses somebody's anonymous refferal link for a signup anyway?

Poor marketing all around.
