The truth is for the last few years Crypto has been dominated by Anglo and Chinese users with everyone else having to adjust, so to see other parts of the world showing an interest is encouraging.
Also Portuguese is actually a widely used language  (ref: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_territorial_entities_where_Portuguese_is_an_official_language) so even though this project wont be the next bitcoin It may be someones first use of a crypto in a  Portuguese speaking area. I'm not betting the farm on this but I do have old GTX 750s mining this that are only1G so I cant use them for Eth, Scrypt and X11 is Asic space now so I am happy to through my hash power in the project in a productive way. Last night I was using the "official" dev pool but there wasn't enough hash there to get a block. I was looking to see if anyone wanted to spread the hash out for the health of the coin.

The main goal of this project is to be adopted by the Brazilian (and later LATAM) community, after all we are about 207 million people in Brazil and 500 million in LATAM.
The many benefits of a regional crypto have already been proven, specially in countries without transparency and lots of corruption as is, sadly, ours.

Your problem is most likely your difficulty setting. A difficulty of 64 is appropriate for a SINGLE 1080 or 1080Ti. You are using FAR too low a difficulty. You should either remove the difficulty setting from your script, and let it auto-adjust, or set it to something more appropriate. I would suggest that a difficulty of around 256-384 should be a good start running 6x 1080Ti's...

I have one 1080 (not ti) and I get about 51-53 Mh/s with Lyra2v2 so I don't think 59.2 is far off for a Ti version. My difficulty is auto set and it seems that pools just have it set low so I wouldn't worry about it. The coin difficulty over all is quite low as well atm so finding blocks is easy.

He is not running one 1080Ti, he is running SIX of them. He should not be getting 58Mh/s, and yes, he should be worried. It's clearly not working correctly. Your difficulty is auto set because you are using one mid-range card in a very modest rig. He is not, so the settings are quite a bit more important to achieve proper optimization. If you are putting that sort of hashpower to a pool and leave it set at auto difficulty, you are doing yourself no favors...

OP, you NEED to adjust your difficulty UP. If you run it at d=64, you are going to be losing work and wasting power...

DO NOT listen to the guy who runs one single 1080 and tells you to leave it at auto. That is less than stellar advice, and you will always get more accepted work and hashrate at a properly configured manual difficulty.

So I started mining here about two hours back as the hash rate for this coin is all at arcpool. Just wanted to spread it out a bit rather than only one pool keeping the coin alive as if arcpool went down it would most likely stall the block chain. Anyhow It's just me and someone else here and we have found 2 blocks lol. The funny part is cause cause it is split with 2 of us I got more than if I was on arcpool. If your a small miner like me swing by and check it out.:-)

So I started mining here about two hours back as the hash rate for this coin is all at arcpool. Just wanted to spread it out a bit rather than only one pool keeping the coin alive as if arcpool went down it would most likely stall the block chain. Anyhow It's just me and someone else here and we have found 2 blocks lol. The funny part is cause cause it is split with 2 of us I got more than if I was on arcpool. If your a small miner like me swing by and check it out.:-)

There hasn't been a coin focused on retail adoption in Brazil and LATAM that we know of but, if we don't know about, there is probably room for another one.   
If you are looking for a technical-blockchain-unicorn, you won't find it in CRS, as you probably won't find it in 99.9% of the altcoins on coinmarketcap, the USP of CRS is adoption by a country that is under attack from corruption and dirty politicians.

We need more miners on different pools, not that arcpool is not good, they are great, but for the benefit of the coin we need to spread the hashrate.
There are plenty of options on the ANN and as you said, even if you get less quantity of blocks you share them with less people so you make more.

growth of Criptoreal, we've heard many excellent ideas. From those ideas, we've decided to
implement the following changes to our project and roadmap:

In order to accomplish the technical changes, we've decided to create a new blockchain instead
of a hard fork, now is a good time since adoption is still in the beginning.

Who has CRS right now needs to pay close attention, because we are going to do a swap* 1:1,
that means that for each CRS that you own right now, you'll get 1 coin of the new chain.

Let's go to the details:



1) New Algorithm


Initially we chose Lyra2REV2 because of its Brazilian origin and being ASIC resistant,
theoretically, that would favor Criptoreal's decentralization of ownership.

However, we didn't foresee the influence that Nicehash has nowadays on new coins and the
issue with centralization that it brings.

Because of that, we decided to start the new chain with a different algo, Lyra2z, also of brazilian origin.

Lyra2z is a new algo, developped by the Zcoin team, also ASIC resistant and until now it can't be mined
on nicehash, favouring small miners who can even mine it with CPU.

Also, Lyra2z is environmentally friendlier, since it doesn't use so much processing power, GPUs are colder,
making them last longer and spend less energy.



2) Masternodes


The new chain is Masternode compatible, masternodes among other uses are responsible for
the instasend feature, disconsidering block time in specific cases.

A great advantage of Masternodes is that the feature helps people hold the coin
instead of selling them immediately.

Generally speaking, serious projects with Masternodes, tend to see their coins
grow in value on exchanges.


The Masternode collateral will be CRS 50.000 and owners will split block
rewards 50/50 with miners.

More details about Masternodes will be published soon in an exclusive announcement.


3) Instasend


As mentioned above, Masternode implementation also allows the CRS to adopt instasend,
a very important feature for the adoption of CRS in retail commerce.


4) Privatesend

With technology's advancements, is getting easier to track transactions on a public blockchain,
that is great in cases such as NGOs donations, but the option of privacy is no less important.

Privatesend mixes coins within the wallet in order to obfuscate ownership.


5) Exchange

We are anticipating exchange listings, at the moment, we are talking with two different
exchanges and this week we'll post what exchange will be the first to list CRS.


Sales of CRS for the 10 first Masternodes will be only done in an exchange and we will
not sell CRS for more than 2 masternodes a week.

There will not be private auctions, hoping to avoid disadvantages and lack of transparency.

 The selling price of the coins sold by us will be always higher then the last 3 prices on the
auction to prevent accusations of dumping.

6) Marketing

We are already contacting websites like Bitcoin.com to add our official press release,
once the transition to the new chain, all these costs will be supported by the CRS team from our own funds.


Also, an ad campaign on facebook reaching 60 million people, is already been planned with
a big digital agency here and it will be executed in February.


7) Whitepaper, Website and User Manuals

We are finishing the new version of our whitepaper, it will be published soon and
translations to English, Spanish and Russian have already been reserved.

The new website will be published this week, already translated and new details about the project.

Also, we are in the process of releasing user manuals for those users with less knowledge
about the characteristics of a wallet.

It took me almost 2 days to mine 100 CRS  ... if nodes were 1000, even 5000, I'd be really happy, but I'm a small miner. My lyra2z hashrate is 1/3 my lyra2v2....still waiting to see how this benefits smaller miners

We changed the algo not only because of NH, considering the cost of electricity in Brazil, lyra2z makes more sense since it spends much less than lyra2v2.
If and when Nicehash lists Lyra2z, the chain will hopefully have enough Hashrates to deal with the swings of difficulty.

I updated my old wallet and installed the wallet for lyra2z on a new PC, both without any issues! I'm mining on Arcpool with lyra2z with no issues too! Thanks for the smooth transition, I'll keep mining and watching this closely

But gives me an error and can´t open in any CRS wallet (wallet.dat corrupt, salvage failed)
I have tried a trick in Linux https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=25091.0 but nothing happend.
I tried salvage wallet...nothing
I have imported the adress with commands my wallet (i´m not verry good, i used dumpp, import..)
and I can see the coins but can´t spend or move them. I have 732 CRC
I have opened the recovered wallet in notepad++ and can see a lot of adresses, some coin:

You should mine lyra2v2 until block 14500. Rewards on lyra2z are low until block 5000 to protect from instamine.
After block 5000 on the lyra2z chain, everything goes full speed

There are windows guides for zcoin, but I don't think you can solo mine the wallet with ccminer unless you have a local pool setup on your pc. (good luck with that) I was unable to get ccminer to mine the wallet directly, and sgminer is useless to me since I'm running nvidia cards.  I should note that I was getting rpc errors with both programs though.

The only solo mining I was able to do was cpumining, but only solomining at ~340kh/s with my cpu seems kind of pointless.

I could be wrong though.

You can't compare two different algos and also, as said previously, the reward on the new chain is  reduced until block 5000.

On post #248, Criptoreal says 120 @ 5000.

Total reward is 120 after block 5000 you are correct, but also remember that Masternodes get 50% .

V1.1.0 doesn't connect to peers that use older protocol versions.
You will get more peers as people start to update their wallets.
You can always add the IP of the explorer at criptoreal.info as a node to make sure you get the most peers.

What GPU are you using? I have mine set to 17 - 18 (I have a 1080 Ti), not much hashrate lost from 21. Also try adding --submit-stale, it could help (well at least in my experience). Also I think your ping to pool server matters too. They say <300ms is recommended.
