Apparently yes, but you need to act very carefully, because anything you do online is traceable, and you can bet that government agents are monitoring the blockchain just to see if something interesting happens... Be careful!

It is not anonymous. You can't hide you transaction. I believed that every node you used can store your IP Address. That's why others are using a mixing services to hide all their footsteps.

And then there's the issue of cashing it out to a exchange platform. They will require you to submit documentations, revealing yourself. And then there's blockchain analysis as well. If we really want total anonymous, look for a privacy coins like Monero and Zcash.

My questions is not on the technical side, since obviously you can create an address in a very much anonymous way. However, when it comes to spending it or convert it into fiat or even when spending it on a legit shop online you have to leave an identity trace.

I know that with small transactions is fine, under the radar basically, but what happens with significant ammounts?

I am asking this because I intend to become rich in 4 or 5 weeks Grin Grin
Well we don't know or i don't know that bitcoin is really anonymous because bitcoin has a many many securities and it cannot be easily hack or be known as anonymous.

Its not completely anonymous, but pseudoanonymous one.. every transactions on bitcoin is registered on a ledger called the blockchain. On blockchain, only the bitcoin address and amount of bitcoin that was received or sent can been seen, but not the personal information of the sender or receiver (such as name, age, etc). However, every transactions made are publicized to the entire bitcoin network.
Yes, Bitcoin is not anonymous because it's trending well and now a lot of people are involved in it, so the demand for money is growing so many people choose to join Bitcoin to get the best profit

Apparently yes? No bro! Bitcoin is not anonymous. First and foremost, if you decide to state your public address and you keep using the same one over and over again, I can easily check and monitor all the transactions you do on that particular address. Do you want to also talk about dealing with exchanges? We can say bitcoin is pseudo anonymous, but completely anonymous like you said? No way!

Bitcoin is not really anonymous, transaction IDs are all over the internet and it can be tracked so the person sending that bitcoin can still be identified, but I think that will be illegal. As far as I know there are a group of people who did some of research last year and ended up telling that bitcoin is not really anonymous and not been commonly used by criminals, they may be using it but they can still be traced and identified.

Hi,

Well first good luck in becoming rich within a month. You should be aware that bitcoin holds many opportunities but it is not miraculous. Beware the offers that are too good to be true. They generally aren't.

Then, it depends on what you are plnning to buy. Of course, if it is a good that you want to be sent to your address... Well it will be possible to track the operation. But there are also many websites offering online services and intangible goods... They will ask for some banking references.. and you can be anonymous through that.

Anyway, I don't think you have really understood the point of bitcoin if your only concern is to cover your tracks to avoid taxation.

Good luck anyway!

Bitcoin when it comes of transaction then i can say that it is not anonymous still the address is in your history transaction. Being anonymous of bitcoin is that the price fluctuation and being decentralized that what i called anonymous. Even government in every country cannot controlled or manipulated of what bitcoin it is. The anonymous one is satoshi nakamoto who build bitcoin i think.
4 to 5 weeks is not enough you to got rich in bitcoin maybe it takes a years.

Very much unrealistic is you intend to become rich within a month through bitcoin? How is that posible? I know bitcoin gives a lot of opportunity to every users but it cannot give miracle, just like what you said. Anyways, yes bitcoin is not totally anonymous when you use it to convert to fiat money since you need a regulated wallet to do that, but when you are using coinbase wallet where you can shop online then you are anonymous with that. Bitcoin can be used either ways to make it legal to use.

With just a few tricks you can keep a good level of anonymity, but... you never know when will be your turn...

It's right whenever we do shopping online or paying bills we leave certain information about us another thing is that whenever we register in an online wallet like here in the Philippines coins.ph requires authentication of the owner of wallet you have to submit valid i.d and many information so I think bitcoin is anonymous but the person who will do transactions are not and can be trace just in case needed.

That is why I love bitcoin because we do have a privacy and hassle free in withdrawing money unlike in banks that it took time before we can get our money, and a lot of verification is needed when we are cashing out a large amount of money which pisses us so much because it is not easy to get money.

Well congratulations to you! I guess it depends in your country. If you have a very big amount of bitcoin, i think you will have to apply or get for some important documents that proves your identity.

Not really, every Bitcoin transaction is traceable thru its blockchain. Theres a couple of crypto coins who can handle transaction anonymously. If you really want to do it using Bitcoin. You can use a 3rd party site like Bitcoin mixers.

It's not fully anonymous. But yes, if we using exchanges such as localbitcoins, poloniex, etc, you will got 1 address for deposit, but when you do withdraw your money to other wallet, you will got tx from many address sources, means this can't be traceable. That's why some illegal transaction using this way for laundry with bitcoin impact are banned by some countries.

Contrary to popular belief, Bitcoin is not really Anonymous as all Bitcoin transactions that has ever happened in history has been recorded on the blockchain.
However, the only information that is available to anyone viewing the blockchain are the transaction IDs and the wallet addresses. Although the wallet addresses aren't explicitly tied to your name, it can be linked back to the point you bought your bitcoins as most Bitcoin vendors require ID verification before selling you bitcoins to protect themselves from scams.
That being said, How people anonomise their BTC is through the use of tumbling services that break up the transaction into smaller transactions while dispersing them through numerous wallets before it reaches its destination. making it harder to tie the original owner to those bitcoins BUT NOT IMPOSSIBLE as it just makes more hastle tracking the bitcoins than it would be worth in time.

You can open an unlimited number of "anonymous" accounts, of course, but when you try to cash it, it will very difficult to hide your identity, and in some country this is illegal.

Anonymous on network but not after converting it into fiat unless you deal with cash in your local for fiat.
It is obvious that when converting it into fiat you will need a bank account or other fiat payment service account, and no fiat account is anonymous at all, and there is no way to create anonymous or without verification fiat accounts.
Every country's accountability or investigation department have set their own criteria to investigate the account holder if a said amount of transaction limit exceeds.
