My questions is not on the technical side, since obviously you can create an address in a very much anonymous way. However, when it comes to spending it or convert it into fiat or even when spending it on a legit shop online you have to leave an identity trace.

I know that with small transactions is fine, under the radar basically, but what happens with significant ammounts?

I am asking this because I intend to become rich in 4 or 5 weeks Grin Grin
The system is more or less similarly closer to the concept of  the unknown or anonymous. Since in the process there is nood need to give your personal information. You just can use pseudonyms. You could be someone what you wanted or whatever will be your preferred identity.

Bitcoin is not really anonymous because others can see the wallet address when send and receive bitcoin but they can't see your identity, password and private key.
Yes that's right. Bitcoin is really not known to others that why its remain anonymous for some. And also for me you don't need others to know your identity in investing because you can make it privately. Wink

When we talk about anonymosity, for me bitcoin is anonymous only when you use or trade it as bitcoin iself. It is defeinitely obvious because you only need the wallet address when you transact.  However,  it is loosing its privacy when the time comes that you have to convert it to fiat with an exchange.

My personal perception is that it is more transparent than traditional offshore schemes. For example, have a look at this chart, which shows, money move from MtGox theft.

You are sure? I am also sure
I can say bitcoin is really anonymous. all recorded in the blockchain ledger but not tracked by other devices and others. that's why the government is worried about bitcoin used for illegal transactions.

bitcoin have anonymous advantage, no one know the identity of the owner, but that advantage makes the government afraid to legalize it, for money laundering, hopefully this thing can be resolved so that privacy can maintained and the government can legitimize it

You just contradicted your statement. They can see your wallet but the question is do the transaction made was face to face or not? If not then your identity is safe, they can't even trace your location or whatsoever. Though if the transaction made was face to face then that's the time that one's identity is at risk.

No matter how big or small your transactions are, The chances of your identity to be disclosed is 1%  especially when the transaction is made online. The decantralized system of this industry helps to made an indivual totally invinsible.

NO, Bitcoin is not perfectly anonymous. It is pseudonymous. Bitcoin is usually described as an anonymous currency because you can conduct transactions in Bitcoin without providing any personal information. Blockchain, a decentralized public ledger, stores the address and the amount of Bitcoin, sent or received. So if your personal information or your identity is linked to your address, every transaction will be linked to you and your identity will be shown on the blockchain network.

As soon as you are sending your money out of the bitcoin environment you will be subject to regulation by your bank and if your bank or anyone knows what you are doing and that you are dealing with cryptocurrencies you can be sure that you are going to be inspected a lot more closely, so once you try to cash out to fiat you will need to identify yourself.

You don't leave your identity trace in every transaction you made. what you leave is the records of transaction. see the different!?
the trace to your identity shows up when you convert bitcoin to fiat, because you convert it in the bank by using your saving account. you can choose not to show up your identity if you use all your bitcoin for payment in any of your transaction.

The anonimyty of bitcoin itself on a blockchain and anonymity of the bitcoin on converting it into a fiat is pretty different. On blockchain it only provides an address, both sender and receiver and the amount , while converting it into a fiat for example on a bank that supports bitcoin it will take you to need more identification like name, transaction code and contact numbers.

I think bitcoin is not totally anonymous because you are right we leave a trace of our self if we want to convert our bitcoin to fiat because exchanges requires our identity before we can make a withdrawal.

One of the bitcoins characteristic is that,  anonymous means only the buyer and seller knows, with out a third party interference maintains the investors confidentiality..Bitcoin has the other feature that it a decentralized one and so there is no government control over it.Its all transactions are monitored in an electronic ledger with the block chain technology. The anonymity maintains the privacy of the individual  who is investing to the crypto market.Bitcoin is the first crypto currency.

Bitcoin itself is anonymous, even when you earn it,  if someone deposited bitcoin amount to your bitcoin wallets it is still anonymous, how much is the amount, may it be small or huge amount, but if you use it to exchange sites or buy stuff using bitcoin because you will have to disclose some info about you, if you convert your bitcoin to fiats, that is where the anonymity ends. But still, people cannot identify from where did you get those bitcoin.

In my country, our wallets are allowed to convert on a limitied amount only. They will never know where it came from, but since we will have to supply some personal informations, we are no longer anonymous. Therefore, bitcoin can be anonymous only when it stays virtually, but if third party will be involved or if you try to spend it, anonymity ends.

Bitcoin is not anonymous, but, rather, pseudo-anonymous. By now, most Bitcoin veterans know this. It’s less obvious to many, however, why Bitcoin is not really anonymous by default, and what can be done to de-anonymize Bitcoin users – and what Bitcoin users can do to reclaim their privacy. However, There are generally three reasons why bitcoin is sometimes regarded as anonymous.

First, unlike bank accounts and most other payment systems, Bitcoin addresses are not tied to the identity of users on a protocol level. Anyone can create a new and completely random Bitcoin address (and the associated private key) at any time, without the need to submit any personal information to anyone.

Second, transactions are not tied to the identity of users either. As such, (and as long as a miner includes the transaction in a block) anyone can effectively transfer bitcoin from any address to which it controls the (private) keys, to any other address, with no need to reveal any personal information at all. Like physical cash, not even the receiver needs to know the identity of the sender.

And third, Bitcoin transaction data is transmitted and forwarded by nodes to a random set of nodes on the peer-to-peer network. While Bitcoin nodes do connect to each other using IP-addresses, it's not necessarily clear for nodes whether the transaction data they received was created by the node they connect to, or if that node merely forwarded that data.

Surely, some people will say that bitcoin is not a anonymous and some people say yeah it is, but we can hidden our identity but our wallet address is enough to track our location. But the question will be who will track us? and What's the benefits for them to track us?
Also I want to ask now 4 or 5 weeks passed: Now have you become rich as you intend?

The government might want to track their citizen if they have digital assets such as bitcoin. Because digital assets are used for tax evasion now a days. Actually, they can track your wallet address once you convert you assets into cash.

Wow,congrats to you bro, that you become rich of this coming a few  days, and maybe this happen to you can give us good example  here being a part of crypto world investment.actually in my own opinion bitcoins is created as an anonymous on your own personality,to protect your life who want to harms with you or your family ,just like nakamoto doing in order to protect his wealth and properties, but this all is change now because of some  implementation in crypto world by doing a KYC,especially in the country of U.S.

Bitcoin has become big money and had a lot of participants, and I think Bitcoin can become a high currency and get a lot of acceptance into the future. But besides that, Finding that Bitcoin is a currency can be very risky and could also cause an economic crisis in countries with low economies.
