Since everything is on a public searchable ledger bitcoin really isn’t as anonymous as some people believe. Sure you’re name isn’t necessarily tied to your wallet, but as soon as you touch that wallet there are methods to track who is accessing it. Now with that being said I’m sure there are some obscure ways to help try and hide who is accessing the wallet. I guess if you were truly concerned about anonymity then you should look into privacy coins.

I'm probably about to spout shit but if anyone can correct me if I'm wrong this would be appreciated!
So bitcoin isn't 'anonymous' in a sense. You can see where bitcoin moves between wallets etc. It's a case of who owns the wallet can be kinda anonymous. As for coinbase, it's not really a wallet it's kinda like a large pool of bitcoin and they say you have x amount of it. Similar to Paypal, you don't actually have the money they display it's in one of their main accounts. As for your personal information and IP, all that kinda stuff is protected by some form of the Data Protection act (for the UK, some equivalent for their country etc). So they are inclined to keep that data private and secure.

No doubt that bitcoin is really anonymous, we are relaxed and do not have to worry about keep bitcoin so all the information about bitcoin owners is never known, this is what makes many countries suspect that bitcoin is used for illegal transactions.
Bitcoin is not anonymous and can not provide the same level of privacy as cash. The use of Bitcoin requires extensive public listing. Bitcoin can not be more anonymous than cash and will not complicate the procurement of criminal investigations when necessary. Bitcoin is designed to prevent financial crime in large numbers. Some concerns have arisen regarding personal transactions may be used for illegal use by using Bitcoin. However, it should be noted that Bitcoin will be part of the existing rules of the financial system.

Yea, indeed bitcoin is very anonymous and therefore many criminals are using it. But not only the criminals who use his anonymous course because in addition to being secretive, the bitcoin payment is very fast.

That is not 100 percent correct that the transactions you make with the bitcoin are fully anonymous, since you actually can track them in the blockchain. It is mostly done when business owners or entrepreneurs have to claim the business or need to sign some contracts
Track them but will not know who is holding the BTC, they do not publicly name, so the BTC is still anonymous in this market. But also because of the anonymity that BTC has attracted many people to them. If they are open and transparent, they will not be attractive anymore.

At first I think bitcoin is anonymous and I also do not quite understand because we can make wallet without identity and the government does not know that we have bitcoin, but some friends say that bitcoin is not completely anonymous because every transaction has IP and there are some ways but I'm not too understand how to trace them if they use a fake IP.
Your friends are right that bitcoin is not fully anonymous but other people do not know about that as they are not aware with the technology involved in bitcoin and its transactions only expert technicians of blockchain can trace the bitcoin address and can know that which address is from where and in the end they reach to the user via IP address or the exchange which the users use for their bitcoin trade can find them if they verified their accounts.

My questions is not on the technical side, since obviously you can create an address in a very much anonymous way. However, when it comes to spending it or convert it into fiat or even when spending it on a legit shop online you have to leave an identity trace. I know that with small transactions is fine, under the radar basically, but what happens with significant ammounts? I am asking this because I intend to become rich in 4 or 5 weeks I think It is pseudo anonymous. anonymous, because every transactions on bitcoin is registered on a ledger called the blockchain. On blockchain, only the bitcoin address and amount of bitcoin that was received or sent can been seen. So, it is not completely anonymous.

Yes, you're right. Bitcoin transactions and accounts are all anonymous. We can make account without using our identity and change new security passwords or settings everytime we want. This is the reason why bitcoin becomes more popular and many people want to invest on it. They trust on bitcoin because it is more secured.

Yes, It Is anonymous Because it cannot be tracked. Where to come from where it belongs but only the bitcoin address and which was sent and received. Personal information was safe. no one can not find it. Bitcoin Technology based on the strong privacy system allocated. Bitcoin is the safest blockchain technology this is why everyone chooses the bitcoin and invest money. But we have used this In the Good purpose.

Exactly. not everything in the bitcoin transaction is anonymous. In fact, today many people can track the transaction by using the exchanger. besides, currently there are many exchangers that use KYC to know their users.

The one who can use bitcoin for their transactions is not mean that they are anonymous the anonymous thing is the team who behind of this what we called bitcoin because we don't know who exactly the team behind this number one digital currency.

Bitcoin isn't really anonymous, because it's a computerized currency, but to be honest, it's not mysterious.
Many people involved in bitcoin are also anonymous, but wallets have the right data and they protect the privacy of our data.

100% the answer is no, regardless of what people may claim. There are some other alt coins that are truly anonymous, Monero and Dark come to mind.

Bitcoin isn't completely mysterious. Some say bitcoin anonymous because of the address, but the fac in this matter is nobody even the government can't trace the individual behind the transaction. Being mysterious of bitcoin is that the value vacillation and being decentralized and to know the proprietor isn't simple one it takes apportions of strategy.

I don’t think it is 100% anonymous they can still track your wallet and if you needed your transactions can be found.

To better understand Bitcoin’s anonymity, it's necessary to first understand how Bitcoin works on a basic level. The Bitcoin protocol effectively consist of a series of transactions. These transactions are made up of different kinds of data, among which are transaction inputs and transaction outputs. The transactions involves sending and receiving which can be tracked via Blockchain technology but not the details of the sender or receiver wont be known

I know that with small transactions is fine, under the radar basically, but what happens with significant ammounts? I am asking this because I intend to become rich in 4 or 5 weeks Bitcoin is not anonymous, rather pseudo-anonymous. Bitcoin addresses & transactions are not tied to the identity of users however it is really difficult to hide your identity if you do transactions outside of the bitcoin platform because your personal information may be required. Once transactions leave the bitcoin platform and are traded for fiat they can be traced and the government can regulate and monitor them.
