Imagine hearing something about Bitcoin, finding Bitcointalk, and reading that ad  Governments and banks don't need to lift a finger to undermine Bitcoin's credibility -- we're doing just fine all by ourselves. |

Even if that was legit who would want to wait 3 years for a measly three fold increase. I could just buy three bitcoins myself and wait for them to increase in value on their own, and then there's no risk. |

Can people buy ad space and make an ad that says "Yes, this is a ponzi scheme. Yes, you will be in before all the others and thus get paid if you click NOW!"

If I were in charge of this ad system, this wouldn't be allowed by me. I mean both of the cases, that "triple your bitcoins" -shit and malicious code attempting ad. Seriously: keep scammers and untrustworthy people scamming and fucking up at your forums, ban people for silly reasons (different rules for different people  ), accept scammy/shady ads on the forum.. (you could've refunded instead of putting them in the rotation).. You need to rest or hire someone else to do your job. But nice job spotting the malicious code, though I don't see even accept anything else than text/image as an ad. |
