I follow one basic principle when selecting a very good coin. firstly,I look at what the project is all about, what are the competitors, what makes the project I'm interested in stand tall??Who are the team behind the project are? they willing to show themselves in videos and interviews? What is the total coin supply?smaller supplies are usually the ones I prefer to invest in.This criteria has really helped me alot.

As far as I can see on coinmarketcap, the good cryptos will be placed at the top, you can rely on that to select a few crypto to invest. And you should prepare enough funds to invest from 2 to 3 crypto because like that the risk ratio will decrease.

A proven team behind, good potential revenue model, real development, and a working minimum viable product. That's what I'm looking for when I invest in Tokens or ICOs. It's a least a good start.

Me either. I always prefer coins that have a limited supply as it have the chance to have a higher value as it nearly approach the supply and also you also look the coin circulation if how many now are in the market and with these you can calculate the coin if it's a potential one.

Hi,

there are so many cryptos and I find it hard to identify the ones where I should have a closer look.
Obviously one can find cryptos e.g. by listening to shilling on Reddit. But I'm looking for more professional sources like YouTube channels, free/ paid Telegram/Discord groups and so on. What do you use?

To find a good crypto to invest in, you should do you're own intensive research in crypto itself and dont depend on other opinions. I think what you are looking for is a "Signal Group" but be advice that this group does not do any good, if you want to stay long in Cryto Trading then its best if you learn it yourself how the market move.

I think we should take a look at the team behind, after that we need to skim the whitepaper and check how manr follower they have.

I think the most important issue when you find a good crypto is that you must focus on the product of the project. if it has a good product or service, i believe that is a good coin. If not, I think you should invest in others.

I mainly just look at a few fundamentals. Is there a working product? Is the dev active (not on twitter or bullshit like that, like actually pushing out updates and important things). Is there a community to help new people and overall if the coin or token actually solves a real issue. If it just sounds cool, it'll do fine for now, but in a bear market you'll get screwed.

It's actually better if the dev and the team is active in any possible form of communication they have. Regular updates are very important especially in this space.

Telegram groups are very useful... and discord groups as well ..

That's community support I guess.

The number of coins are high but only few of them are good for investment. I mainly find them by looking at the team members, CEO, founders, advisors and managers. You can do the same thing to understand if it's a serious one.

That is why it is so important to figure out which initial coin offerings are coming up by searching sites that gives ICO alerts since developers are updating their upcoming pre sale and their public sale, so you can plan ahead of time which new coins you are planning to invest at, do research and if you have finally decided be ready with your money.

I personally like to study the trading volume on coinmarketcap it is a great indicator of peoples interest in any coin. Huge rises and constantly high volumes can be good sign for a coin which receives a broader attention by investors, traders, users etc.

Every now and then many cryptos emerging in coinmarketcap we do not know which are better aside from higher valued coins like ethereum and bitcoin and the rest is we really don't know. I have an account in social medias discussing about movement of cryptos and also in telegram they are sharing about in trading analysis and techniques how to earned in trading. Yes i also watch youtube channel and searching in goolgle to gather some information related with cryptos. If you wish to drop me here a link of my group in social medias and telegram i will and you're welcome to join us. Grin
Yes I must say that the world of crypto currencies is now getting full of frauds and now the chances of being scammed have also increased than ever.

Honestly, it’s an easy way to make money by making cool offers to common people because majority is innocent and does not understand the evil people using them. I have firm believe in this expression that old is gold. It is safe to stick with the old ones like bitcoin and beneficial also.

Crypto expert recommendations from Google and youtube sources are the options I often make to be able to see crypto types that have growth in the future. It even looks more convincing by way of discussion in this forum so I can see the dev and the successful team behind him with the type of coin we will choose and can be very promising for the future.
I think by doing ICO research by ourselves in this forum better, because we can learn a lot to know every good coin, ask the experts just for comparison with our own opinion. so we can stand alone without having to rely on other opinions, because the opinions of others will only make us unstable.

I am a short term trader so I suggest to look at those coins that has an upcoming events because news has a huge influence when it comes to price in crypto. Besides, these are the coins that has a high tendency of being shilled by the people may it be in reddit, twitter or telegram because they have a reason why someone should buy that coin. Take a look at https://coinmarketcal.com/. It is cryptocurrency calendar and you can contribute in there too if you know an important event of a certain coin. I also use https://cryptostat.org/. It is a site wherein the volume and prices of the coins are track in different time frames so you can see the percentage changes which is a big help when you are looking for a coin that has a big change in price or volume. It is paid though. If you want to know about some ICOs, try https://icobench.com/. They also review an ICO which you would like them to review for a fee.

It was require a huge effort. You have to read white paper, road map, review their developers, advisers, marketing, strategies and so on. Follow news about cryptos and join telegram. However, it's worth an effort.

If you want to get updates about upcoming events of cryptos.
