How do you mean by soft and hard cap? Does it have anything to do with the total supply of the tokens, the maximum supply and the circulating supply? Shed more light please

It is possible that the roken will grow in price if the unsold token will be burned. Inflation in cryptoeconomy works the same way as in normal one. But if the ICO don't have a hard cap then it means that the tem doesn't have a clear vision of the project. Whitepaper is the key to analyzing the project. Especially the parts about the token issue and roadmap.

Yeah, because it gives us more confortability, but if i need to be honest, i am always looking forward to join each ICO only when they have already reached their SOFTCAP, otherwise, i wouldn't join them because of the fear of being scammed.

I have invested in about five ICO's so far and I prefer them to have a soft and hard cap.  I refuse to participate in an ICO that doesn't have a cap at all.  These projects tend to be oversold and it takes a lot of time, development and marketing for the price to be profitable to consider selling.

That's right, if a project reaches a soft cap or hard-stamp it can say is the target achieved in a sale. In that case the project is really serious in terms of floating the project.
If the project has reached hard cap it will be better because the token price will be very good

Having a soft and hardcap achievements in ICOs will give us a more accurate results with our investment, morelikely it is a trigger for us to invest in an ICO,thats why ICOs are required to have these caps.

ICO's with soft and hard caps are generally preferable than the ICOs that would take any amount of money from investors.
A real business would want to raise a minimum fund to achieve particular progress which is defined by soft cap. The raised fund would be useless if they won't be able to achieve soft cap. That's why they return in the case.
A hard cap defines upto what capital does the business is able to utilize the fund. Not even the best business would take every money they get as capital is not the only limiting factor.

Soft caps are pointless.  If a project fails to meet, they can just go again.  Hard caps are good to give a project a target and structure.  Progress of the amount raised is very important on an ICO, its an immediate view on the sentiment and therefore likely short term success of the launch.  If you can sell most your cap, your coins isnt going to sell well in the market once released.

Investors choosing the ICOs by popularity and reliable team. If that guys already had problems with not honest behavior and some fake ICOs then nobody is going to invest. But the hype is №1 thing -- if the project attract much attention then it means the income for investors might be really huge.
