Based on the BTC/USD chart for Coinbase, the previous major low on Dec 22nd was 10.4k. Price just broke below that level for a few minutes and rebounded.
Potential double bottom, I'd say people are scaling in small positions now. Could it break lower? Yes, if it does break 10.4k, it's going down to the next support level.

It is evident that some of the factors that may have lead to the decline of Bitcoin may involve the issues that's taking place in South Korea with regards to the handling of Bitcoin and maybe the upcoming Chinese New Year. Rates made a steep downfall over the past few hours from $14,000 down to $11,000. At this point, I guess we should maximize the opportunity rather than focusing on what we lost. I feel like Bitcoin will still have a lower rate of reaching about $8,000-$10,000 in value. When those rates are reached, that's when I'll buy to gain more Bitcoins so that when it recovers after some time, I will gain and even multiply the value of what I lost during the correction.

Maybe now is the right time to buy bitcoin, because the market is now red, so if it is red then it is likely the future will be green again, by buying now the profit is waiting in the future.

Absolutely yes, this is the great opportunity to us that now is the best way to invest bitcoin. I'm pretty assure that by after 4-5 months bitcoin will back to normal price or higher than i expected, for me now 50% of my salary in real job i do invest here in bitcoin. In other hand about the case of banning in South Korea and also in country of China i think this is not the only one factor bitcoin falling down the price, maybe this time now all crypto currencies having a correction from segwit2. So, grab now and invest as much as you can. |

In my opinion, Yes it is the right time to buy bitcoin. No one really knows how far bitcoin will go down, it may down to 7k or it might jump high again a few hours, no one really knows.

First i can not say Bitcoin is cheap, it is still expensive, LOL. but yes I do think that this is the best opportunity to buy bitcoin and altcoins as we are seeing red all over the market. I am pretty sure in the long run crypto currency market will recover. This is exactly what happened when China announce they are banning Crypto trading and look how fast the market was able to recover. |

If I have bitcoin to buy it's the time to buy bitcoin now because l believe that it will climb to $100000 even its impossible now but as 2017 bitcoin climb very quick. I believe that when bitcoin start to climb up again that would be the beginning to hope for the future price of bitcoin. Just don't lose hope and be brave if your belief so that you will get your dream come true. Because l know bitcoin will not be able to frustrate me on my dreams. |

If I have bitcoin to buy it's the time to buy bitcoin now because l believe that it will climb to $100000 even its impossible now but as 2017 bitcoin climb very quick. I believe that when bitcoin start to climb up again that would be the beginning to hope for the future price of bitcoin. The bitcoin market seem to be going in a bearish direction, with which, we do not know where it would take a support. In my own opinion, i will say that, we wait for the market to make a reversal before entering a buy position. For if, you happen to buy now, and the prices goes further down, you're said to be having a loss.

Gonna play devil's advocate here. I don't think now is the right time to buy unless you are ready to sell at the tip of another dip. I watched the buy wall get demolished on gdax. It almost dipped below 10k. Went from 300 to 50 before people started buying in. I honestly believe it's going to go lower. I went to sleep @ 11,000 thinking there would probably be a really healthy growth. I came back underwhelmed to see it was basically the same. I'd be cautious.

If you buy some bitcoin now is not a bad idea and if it can recover to it last high, you will make serious profit. I think bitcoin will soon recover from this high dump we witnessed yesterday. If you have a good risk capital it is good you should also Look at others coins that have dropped significantly and invest in it too. Bitcoin is going to do well in no time after all these issues from China and south Korea settle down.
