Governments of many countries are practically declaring war on cryptocurrencies. Why is that?
Putting policies and rules are different from war so stop exaggerating the issue We have lots of countries in the world and you cannot tell one to do what they must do because every governments has their own ways on managing their people what we need to do is respect their decision and just wait until time they will finally realized what they are missing

It seems the government is a bit scared of bitcoin, really more than a bit. Its going to be a wild year 2018. I dont think there will be any stopping this train, but I wouldnt put it out of site that government or "Powers that be" have something in mind. There is a lot of fear mongering going on about it crashing to nothing. I just dont see that happening. I think we have as much a chance of losing the internet as we do cryptocurrency. We always hear the fear put out there like they are gonna shut the internet down. I doubt "they" even can. Cryptocurrency does seem to be on a train of its own. decentralized and powerful.

Governments of many countries are practically declaring war on cryptocurrencies. Why is that?
It was normal for the government to have war on cryptocurrency since not every country has the capability to handle the growth of cryptocurrency in their own area.

Crypto influences economy, and many countries are not ready for this technology. I think in future they will change their mind about crypto, but not now.

Governments of many countries are practically declaring war on cryptocurrencies. Why is that?
There is no longer much war with cryptocurrency like it used to be. A lot of countries have made a u-turn on their previous decision to ban cryptocurrency. Most governments such as Venezuela have even embraced it.

There has been the allegation by most government institutions to do away with cryptocurrency since they have a skewed minds of thought that crypto is making most banks to collapse.

It's not a war, they are in the process of educating what is cryptocurrency because it is hard to legalize the cryptocurrency if you don't know how it works and what risk it has. I believed that someday most of the country will adopt crypto as an option of payment. We have to be patient, let them educate themselves first to lessen and avoid the risk.

Governments of many countries are practically declaring war on cryptocurrencies. Why is that?
actually crypto threatens the existence of the bank as a third party, we know that crypto aims to eliminate it to make transactions more transparent and fast, the government is afraid of this and rejects it

Governments of many countries are practically declaring war on cryptocurrencies. Why is that?
The war or pressure in cryptocurrency is gradually reducing. So many people including the government authorities are beginning to see that Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies mean no harm but to give people an alternative to banking transactions.

Governments of many countries are practically declaring war on cryptocurrencies. Why is that?
I think some of government declaring war on cryptocurrency because they like to control it, so they can earn tax or other tax can provide if you have transaction. War in cryptocurrency is not for our government its also in the market, we war everyday in the market, because the market is unstable, some people dumping the price of altcoins, hopefully this year people pump the market.

It must be admitted that the number of coins and tokens at this time will certainly make war, from 1900 coins and tokens that are already available in various exchanges this certainly makes the competition very tight so it will make lots of coins and tokens die.

Governments of many countries are practically declaring war on cryptocurrencies. Why is that?
Because they are afraid of the cryptocurrency that would jeopardize their economies, it is feared that uncontrolled inflation leads to inflation so most countries have laws prohibiting or punishing the use of currency, The bad news is that it is very difficult to stop people using cryptocurrency because they can not know exactly who they are.

Governments of many countries are practically declaring war on cryptocurrencies. Why is that?
Anything disruptive will have some sort of push back. As long as blockchain is an acceptable technology, we'll all be looking back at this point laughing.

the war on cryptocurrency seems like this might happen when bitcoin is made into a war tool so there will be a lot of price movements and the movement will be very fast and there will be a principle of who has a lot of capital then that's the winner.

Many FUDs have set and talked about the government's response to cryptocurrency when that never happens. This is what will be redistributed by us as users of cryptocurrency, and spreading hatred against the government. The problem is we can simplify, the user cryptocurrency willing to pay taxes if the government legalize cryptocurrency, and I think it will be mutually beneficial.

Not sure if your statement here is correct. No one is declaring war against crypto. They are restricting it for various reasons in different countries, but that's about it. And it's just few countries in general ...

The reasons of course our money. In my country politics are used to steal, so with blockchain and decentralization would come up and my country they would not be able to do that anymore.

Governments of many countries are practically declaring war on cryptocurrencies. Why is that?
I find your post not totally serious about cryptocurrency. How did you know that government are waging war on cryptocurrency? I haven't read any article with regards to it and basically not that cryptocurrency is the new trend by people in digital world.
