I think that this is largely due to the fact that it is unstable but I don't think you need to declare war since the future does not leave !
Yes I think there is no war between cryptos and the governments, even if the governments don't want to legalized it. Maybe they are just thinking that crypto will be a threat for their economy.

Even if you use Bitcoin through Tor, the way transactions are handled by the network makes anonymity difficult to achieve. Do not expect your transactions to be anonymous unless you really know what you're doing.

Because bitcoin was conceived as an independent currency! Why does the state need it? Bitcoin can not replenish the treasury of the state. The anonymity of crypto currency allows citizens to avoid universal control over monetary transactions. I think these are the main reasons.

Governments of many countries are practically declaring war on cryptocurrencies. Why is that?
Due to its decentralized nature crypto is practically uncontrollable - the governments cannot track the expenses and saving of their citizens. Moreover, very often bitcoin and some other coins are used for illegal activities (drugs, weapons, pornography, terrorism), so by imposing regulations governments try to combat all these unplesant things.

The war on cryptocurrency is that of a concerned parent. We want this to be the best it can be before we let it in. And what is, isn't ready for the masses. Although we would like to believe dumping a trillion dollars into something that isnt ready would in fact speed it up, it would also be a huge waste of effort and time for people to work on the very thing a single corporation could most likely produce. When its ready for the people, they will deregulate as they do all things worth emerging.

Governments of many countries are practically declaring war on cryptocurrencies. Why is that?
Not literally at war though, they just cannot control cryptocurrency, they want to impose a tax for it but they dont know how it will be implemented since almost everything about crypto is decentralized type of system. With the rise of crypto, banks will become useless and government will also lose some income from the banks thru tax paying.

Governments of many countries are practically declaring war on cryptocurrencies. Why is that?
Governments don’t understand Bitcoin and want to control it. It is true that Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies will be disruptive to banking as we know it. This makes them want to hold Bitcoin back. Governments also want to make sure they get their taxes from us as well. And I think they want to get bitcoin because it is so powerful but they didn't know that no one can handle it. They declaring war from this because they also see that it can affect their own country by using it. The taxes doesn't go to government because it go through the miners. I think when they cooperate from bitcoin then they can create some way to get huge tax than bank do.

I don't see wars anymore...just stagnation... It's very strage, probably it's the calm that preceeds the storm. I'd like to know in what direction the wind will blow...

they think that if a currency can`t be controlled than money laundering and illegal staff as well as the money in country would go easily outside the country by making more debts, so that`s why they don`t want it.

It is unlikely that the current state with the legalization of cryptocurrencies can be called a war with cryptocurrencies, but we still do not know how the government will behave in relation to the cryptocurrency in the future. We see that even Japan introduces some rules of cryptocurrency circulation, which are aimed at tightening, including the prohibition of circulation of cryptocurrency with a high degree of anonymity, such as Monero, Dash, ZCash and others. At the same time, there they are now trying to ease the tax pressure on citizens in cryptocurrency activities. I think that in the future the states will try to limit the circulation of cryptocurrency on their territory and this will happen with varying success.

for that i think government is currently looking for solutions to anticipate money laundering, and other things that need to be considered as well. with rampant money laundering by officials, it will certainly harm country

These governments simply want to get hold of cryptocurrency but it seems a bit difficult because of the decentralized nature of cryptocurrency. Due to this, some countries declare war on it by calling it several negative names and prohibiting it. It is however notable that as at now, some countries in the class of world's biggest economies are already supporting cryptocurrency.

in fact, the war on the cryptocurrency has long been declared by many governments in the world, one of which is the Chinese government. Chinese government declares war on cryptocurrencies because of the many reports of ICOs that scam and have cheat thousands of their investors, this is a concern by the government and makes them enemies of cryptocurrencies..

Governments of many countries are practically declaring war on cryptocurrencies. Why is that?
many governments reject cryptocurrency due to various factors, the most common factor is that countries want to protect the value of their currencies because they are afraid that crypto can have a negative impact on the country's exchange rate, the second factor is that the state bank does not lose financial control if traders use crypto, and another factor is the possibility that crypto might be used as a tool for laundering money from crime ...

Governments of many countries are practically declaring war on cryptocurrencies. Why is that?
War against crypto today and regret later. The governments are fashioning this allegations against crypto because they fear the kind of power crypto takes from them and gives it back to the people in terms of owning control over the financial status and affairs. People who are against Bitcoin are just wasting their opportunity of making rich and enhancing their payments.

Governments of many countries are practically declaring war on cryptocurrencies. Why is that?
Simply because its transactions are anonymous and blockchain technology is helping terrorists deal a lot in the sale of weapons and drugs. But it still makes many businesses better at crypto trading. The reason is very simple, because a centralized government system does not fit into the financial system carried out by cryptocurrency, where everyone has complete freedom in their financial transactions. that's the core of the problem that made the government declared war with crypto..

Many governments are opposed to cryptocurrency and blockchain, as technology develops, and government mechanisms become obsolete and thus limits government intervention in people's lives. Also, citizens don't declare their income from the sale of cryptocurrency which means they don't pay taxes.

Governments of many countries are practically declaring war on cryptocurrencies. Why is that?
Cryptocurrency is a tax free currency. It's not created, or issued by government. Thus, it is not control by government. The governments are against cryptocurrency because it is secure and decentralized currency.

Governments want to control cryptocurrency not fight with it. I think that they understand perfectly well how crypto will affect the development of the economy in the country.
