Is the team doing anything to address this? Based on the number decrease in this channel one could conclude interest in cardstack has gone to almost zero over the last month

The network tries to produce one block per 10 minutes. It does this by automatically adjusting how difficult it is to produce blocks.

This was addressed today in the channel (https://t.me/cardstack)

"...thank you for your feedback. Indeed we are planning a larger marketing promotion close to and post TGE, with several interviews already lined up. We currently do have sufficient whitelist sign ups to be able to complete the TGE. Also in the works, we are translating our website and starting new telegram communities so we can cater to new communities in different languages - esp in China, Japan and Korea."

KYC/AML guidelines were released by FINMA sometime after our pre-allocations. That required us to work with MME & Bitcoin Suisse to ensure that we are in compliance with the new guidelines before we are able to proceed with the TGE. With the help of both MME and Bitcoin Suisse, we believe we have a good way to be able to handle the large volume of whitelist pre signups that we have collected. This required us to make adjustments and tweaks to our current system. The token event is conducted by Cardstack Foundation, a Swiss based foundation in Zug.

Take a moment to read this interesting post by Chris Tse from the Cardstack blog.

Crypto Prices Are Volatile Because Nobody Is Using Blockchain (Yet)
If we want prices to stabilize, we better get building.

The team promises to soon announce the start date ICO. They complete preparations for the KYC and AML procedures and will soon provide us with additional information.

If you've done good due diligence you should be trusting the team anyway. I don't invest in teams I don't 100% trust so that I don't have to worry about what they do later on.
But yes, transparency is always good and it'll be nice to have Chris here answering questions every now and then.

You have a point, and this was discussed at length with Jacqueline in Telegram today. On the matter, she said "I can tell you though that Chris has spent the last few weeks traveling the world, to meet with early contributors and to promote the Cardstack project. As soon as he gets back from London, he will be here to speak with you all."

So know that your concerns are heard, and the team is taking steps to address them. Remember, you can join the discussion yourself here.

Please tell me, what is the bonus for early investors? I'm afraid there'll be a dump when the token arrives for the exchange.

20% for Batch A and 10% for Batch B. No bonus for the Batch C

Meet the Cardstack team:

Chris Tse
Founder & Head of Product

Chris Tse is a technologist by trade, a designer in practice, and an entrepreneur at heart.

Chris has been a designer and architect of “Digital Ecosystems”, from decentralized peer-to-peer applications to federated social applications. He is a champion of applying Open Web technologies, such as HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript, to create mobile experiences that allow interactions to move smoothly between devices, users, and brands. Chris is also an innovative thought-leader in scalable systems design, and has given talks on how to apply NoSQL techniques along with functional programming paradigms to build the next-generation cloud back-ends. In 2014, Chris founded the Cardstack project, a decentralized full stack application and integration framework that provides the Cohesive User Experience (CUE), which spans the blockchain and the cloud.

Chris is also the co-founder and CTO of Monegraph, where he leads the development of decentralized digital markets with a combination of cloud and blockchain-based tools. Chris is also the co-founder and tech lead of the dotBlockchain media project that is a new dynamic file format and supporting technology architecture, designed to modernize rights management of media files globally for all participants. His goal is to design and develop an open framework for decentralized interoperability for the music ecosystem.

Previously, Chris was the founding Senior Director of McGraw-Hill Education's R&D lab, and has worked on applying JavaScript tools to solve problems in the enterprise, built HTML5 interactive components using cards, and architected continuous analytics systems with NoSQL. He championed the creation of the open source projects like EmberJS, and was instrumental in driving the adoption of open source ethos in the development of enterprise products.

Chris led the development of social media and dynamic publishing applications at BusinessWeek Digital as the Senior Director of Innovation. Before joining the New York media industry through the acquisition of The Grow Network by McGraw-Hill, where Chris served as the Chief Technologist in charge of technology strategy and solution architecture, he co-founded three other technology startups: a database consulting shop, a messaging software company, and a network security research firm. Chris created one of the first peer-to-peer secure file transfer application called Civil Netizen, which was built on the Mozilla open source codebase.

Chris holds a B.S. in Computer Science from Columbia University and is still very much addicted to New York City.

This is an interesting project for sure. By making all the dApps operable by developers, it reduces the time required to build a proper and real dApp. This should see a proliferation of new dApps that combine several of the 'older' or 'base layer' dApps, thereby providing much better functionality for the end user. I give chances for change, 100% trust doesn't work  with me. The team is actually good and hardcap is reasonably sizeable for a start up. I hope for a successful ICO.

Thanks for the support! That is indeed a pretty good summary.
