I think it's pretty exciting stuff. And it ties into Cardstack's philosophy of progressive decentralization — the idea that we should start with what's easy and familiar for users (like a cloud-hosted service) and let them move to greater decentralization (locally hosted, etc)

Yeah, but I would rather hire someone who is 10x smarter than me to convert my ideas into actual code.
I just need to understand it well enough not to be wasting their time.
I'm building my business from scratch around the GitHub workflow example and I intend to build it on the Cardstack Framework.

Great to hear, let us know if you have any questions.

Thanks for the support, we are all very excited Smiley

The smart contract edits were what I wanted to point out, but also thought I'd share the other updates we are working on as well. We are as excited for the unlocking as you are!

what functionalities are embedded within the cardstack smart contract?
its a little bit strange youve spent so much effort on smart contract considering that erc20s are simple receive transfer contracts

The CARD smart contract is so much more! It includes both upgradable contracts and token vesting, and is crucial for realizing the Cardstack token ecosystem as well as the Tally protocol. The smart contract code is open source, and you take a look for yourself here: https://github.com/cardstack/cardstack-token
And if you want some great smart contract reading, you can check out these blogs written by senior blockchain develoeper Hassan Abdel-Rahman:

What are some ideas you all have on ways to improve diversity in the blockchain community, considering we need to onboard a wider range of skill sets and backgrounds to get where we need to be?

The fundraiser Dashboard is one example!

Cardstack is definitely one of those ideas Smiley

I understand correctly that the tokens will be distributed on June 2? And on June 2, will the tokens be distributed to the participants of the bounty campaign (30 days from the end of the token sale)?

At most on July 2nd they'll be transferable, to be more precise. For bounty related questions, you'll have to ask at https://t.me/cardstackbounty

I am interested in one question-can we hope to be listed on a popular exchange? Or the team will pull the time and the tokens will only be sold on decentralized exchanges.
