There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

Do you have to remove your coins from cryptsy?

I think that will be the case I was hoping that cryptsy would help with the swap over but it doesn't look like they will be

I will let everyone know when the best time to withdraw is Smiley

I have open orders to sell my ADT on cryptsy. If I cancel these orders do you know if my ADT coins will be okay and i will be able to withdraw to my local wallet when you give the go ahead?

All of the stuff on cryptsy site is off blockchain so its just a change in there database so it should work fine

I am just getting the last few things done so everything can start on Monday Smiley

Ok its Monday any news ? updates 1.5.3 wallet not synced Huh

still looks everything going as planed just waiting for mullick to send over the new blockchain ( could be a few h from now as its still 4am where he is )

The old chain is an issue that I want to get solved I have talked to Tranz and he cant enable POW blocks at 0 reward as he doesn't have time
I will ask mullick to do it as soon as he wakes up and hopefully he can do it Smiley

The other way to get the old chain moving is to make sure cryptsy is on the latest client and the coins can stake

but unfortunately cryptsy are being a bit of a pain not replying to my messages Sad

If that doesn't work out it wont delay the launch of the new chain it will only slow down the swap over as the chain is moving a few blocks a day

any update?

good news is that cryptsy is thinking about helping its users swap to the new chain

The bad news is mullick hasn't handed over the new blockchain yet I am still aiming to get it released today if mullick hands it over in time
