Any thoughts how the price of SC will move now that a ton of hashrate will be coming its way? LTC and Dash blew up after Bitmain released miners, same thing here?
Well, if history is any indicator. Yeah, should go up. I can't think of any coins that crashed after an asic release. Agree, at least they stay ...

Before anyone else jumps on this, remember that there's already another Siacoin ASIC being shipped from https://obelisk.tech/ They're already doing batch 2 so the hashrate might already skyrocket before these Bitmain ones even ship out.

I think the last thing I read was that they were hoping to ship them sometime in the first half of this year or something. I just don't want anyone wasting their money like they did on the D3 and all of the BTC ASICs from years ago that were useless before they even left the factories. The Sia dev is talking about possibly forking just to keep Bitmain out lol. https://www.reddit.com/r/siacoin/comments/7r4spy/dev_team_thoughts_on_the_bitmain_a3/

Dang, I should have snagged one. I was chillin at my computer when the email notification came through and could have had it. But I don't mine anymore. Cheaper to simply buy coins...especially today.
I mean in this market even with buying the coins, does it have the same return as it did before? Cause we're not in the same sort of bull market we were before, nor are we in a bear market. We're in something in between. Wish I got into mining a long time ago, would've made a ton of money throughout all of this. Wish I didn't get into trading alts and BTC but that's what I'm stuck with now.

Whenever I have selected it I get a popup that says "Please Input Import No" I always assumed that as an error.

Right now, I think the only thing you have to worry about is potentially too many A3s driving the difficulty too high to ROI, but I don't know how many of them were sold.
