Most of the altcoins based their price on Bitcoin, if bitcoin price will go down, for sure they will follow. I think that there are 2 main reasons why the price of coins are dropping. Exchanges and markets everywhere operate like sine curve if you try to understand their growth.there is bearish and bullish trend that interchange, nobody complained when we had the bullish trend towards the end of the year that saw astronomical rise in prices

This is the other reason for the dropping of the altcoin but I think now we see that altcoin still survive and many of them are increasing the price. although the price does not increase much higher, at least we can see that the altcoin is trying to rise again. i think coins drop is because of no demand. People no longer interest into buying different of coins. They rather hold coins as bitcoin and Eth. So no demand, than price will drop.
