$300 every month for a return in 2019

Hi All,

I am looking to invest $300 every month for next 18 months so a total of $5400 to get a good project.

My current portfolio

XVG: 5000 @ $0.14 (Currently down to 0.08)
BCN: 20000 @ 0.04 (currently at 0.06)
DeepOnon 67 @ 13.59 (Currently at 9.69)

I bought XRP at 1.24 and sold at 2.85..

Future plans include to take position in

I will be grateful if I can get some thoughts on what do you guys think about this strategy. I am in no hurry to sell.

Buy new blockchains like ICON, ADA, NEBL, ELF etc. Don't buy old shitcoins - small growth potential

awful plan tbh, if i had to make a new portfolio right now it would look like this:

30% eth
30% ven
10% wpr(eth until ico)
10% xrb
10% icx
10% nebl/eng/waves/strat(one of those)

also not a fan of buying each month, buy when it dips, so right now. unless you dont have 5400$ atm but it will still hurt you overall.

Didn't you think to invest in ICO with coin "as security"? With transparent legal scheme and understandable business model. What if it is a way to balance your basket/portfolio?

For small investors I recommend cheap coins with quality teams and projects behind like telcoin, bitclave and stom token etc, they will grow big in 2018.

I don't like your picks, you picked all hype coins. They might not even be relevant in 2019.
If I were you I'd pick stronger coins such as ETH, NEO, VEN, KMD...

Don't pick the top coins, hyped ones.
Check a top 200-300 list. Where you can find something that ins't really popular but with a better project than those in top 50.

Add DRGN, a Disney project and IQeon - esports will rasie 300+% in popularity this year.

What you are doing is wrong because you keep buying up coins at the top price, most of these tokens you bought just pumped and you bought a the top, why not just invest the $300 in ICO projects every month because their valuation likely be lower than those projects currently trading on exchanges

Linda? I though this was just a pump and dump coin. Better off with some stable coins like NEO which has done quite well so far and is likely to rise a lot this year. New ICOs are switching from ethereum to NEO driving up demand for the coin. Get a few when you can before it pumps again

I think you should look to diversify away from privacy coins as long term only a few will hold out and some will become inferior. As for LINDA I never really liked the look of this and would stay away myself.

This is not true DeepOnion project is very good, and perspective this year.
These guys started from 0. No ICO, but now they have 50 mil, its just a beggining of DeepOnion story. The price before market dump was 18$.
This one pick ,is one of the best this years.

If you are looking for another coin look into FunFair ( FUN ) Its still cheap at the moment.

Nice move with your ripple. I would pick up some more if it dips again. There is suppose to be some big announcements coming out this month that might bump the price up. I missed the 80 cent dip last week by a few hours due to waiting on funds to arrive. Off course the rumors of big news could be BS.

As for me you must expand your investment portfolio. Buy a few more coins that are in the TOP-20. This will guarantee that you will get a good profit and protect yourself from risks.

keep doing this with all these coins. buy each low and sell them high.
this is a much better strategy than just pouring money in a long list of altcoins every now and then and creating something that people call "portfolio" to just feel better by holding 10000 different altcoins
it is much harder and will take a lot of time but it can also be much more profitable and less risky than holding alts.

I also suggest you remove Onion and add Elixir and SONM to your list. Elixir is a small-cap loan project while SONM is a decentralized competitor of Amazon EC2. Both of them are very great altcoin and project. You can check their website at elixirtoken.io and sonm.io
