I really do not understand why all of a sudden market has just been down.Knowing some countries that banned the mining of bitcoins it really got a big impact on the market.And now i begin to panic.

FUD,China banning crypto miners,South Korea follows by banning Bitcoin local and foreign exchanges are just some of the negative news affecting the downtrend of Bitcoin,so people who invested on coins panic,selling their holdings and investment to minimize their losses or saved what is left of the price,with this happenings oversupply occurs.Let's just hope that the slump is over,and Bitcoin start rebounding back from all the losses that happen,at the moment Bitcoin price is now at 11K$+ from a very low of 10K$+ yesterday a good sign to start our day.

No it is not the cause because market corrections till now we have not any downfall in bitcoin. So we have to accept anything in crypto and we have to buy at the dips, if we don't have money then there is no choice for us. |

Because of the FUD. There are many weak hands . So many people selling their bitcoins now. And also there are some fake news around the world about bitcoin, that's why the market is down. Also maybe there are some whales that is manipulating the price of bitcoin. |

It isn't sudden. The market has been drifting down since the Dec 6th highs. A lot of transactions that were stuck in the mempool finally hit the exchanges and people sold. Day traders also sold and then you had a bunch of stop losses being triggered which sent the market down further. That's all. |

Panic selling caused the downtrend of all cryotocurrencies,this is created sue to the banning of exchanges in korea and China but they are portrayed as banning of cryotocurrency in their countries.So other people all over from Asia started selling their coins in panic that their country also ban cryotocurrency.

It can be one of the cause from many parameters to make market down. But I think today the market down is because many goverment start banned crypto. |

1) Chinese New Year approaching
2) Traders and whales paying taxes
3) Traders and whales who waited until after Jan 1 to pull out funds
4) Whales manipulating low prices to allow Wall Street money to flow in (think bonus season)
5) Huge FUD week (South Korea, China, France)
6) Market was ready for another (natural) correction - the % increase we were seeing was unsustainable.

Prolly that's one of reasons why but there's still many events that needed to consider. The panic selling of other hodlers are also makes the price of the crypto goes down. If you're smart enough, you should buy more while the price is down.

Many news I read in many forum it's about legal again but the truth maybe market manipulation with wrong or manipulate information to control up and down market to get people to hurry and selling they coin.

we can't really identify because there are many factors like
if there is a fraud or any thing goes wrong about mainly bitcoin price because it will affect altcoin price
or maybe the bitcoin price going down also altcoins will follow maybe these could be a correction or movement manipulation of whales holder of bitcoin.
or maybe many of investors day traders pulling out and selling all their bitcoin like what happens if there will be a christmas or something.

This is expected. The charging bull has ran out of energy. It'd soon stabilize and all the ministry that left would return. If the coins you're holding are worth it, this is the time to buy more.

Rumors and fake news are the real cause for the price fall of all crypto currency because bitcoin haters convey the actual news in a wrong way then the newbie investors are backing up their investment by selling them which is the cause for fall.So investors need to hold the coins no need to worry about the temporary fall because the history taught us it will surely recover.

In my opinion and based on others speculation, I came up with an answer that it is because of chinese. We all know that they own huge part or amount of bitcoin. This february they have a chinese new year which I think causes bitcoin to drop because they needed the money for that event. I am still on search for more proof of this but if you on to the old charts you will see that the trend is the same that every february bitcoin usually drops its value.
