Finally we see another real, useful and quality service coming for Crypto coins. Looks excellent Baritus. None of this crazy circus stuff with timer countdowns, repeated broken promises etc, just giving us the info we need when required and working hard to put out a fantastic new service. Thats how you do it folks. Can't wait! Cheers!

You Should add Franko to your exchange. At this time there is less than 50,000 minted and there is a lot of stuff about to be added to support the value of the coin.

The website isn't parked, it's on name.com NS until I point it elsewhere.
Any crypto that would like to be added can send me a proposal of how you intend to add equal value to DGC. A couple of paragraphs explaining where DGC will be implemented (or has been) is enough.

As I posted earlier, only DGC will be usable for the purchase of shares in the exchange.

The exchange holds the fiat. The merchant/user fees as well as other financial details will be posted when finalized. The servers will be located in Panama and as posted in the earlier thread, all payment processing is through third party processors.

-Merchants can accept any currency through the built in payment processor
Does this mean that a merchant can accept DGC or other crypto's as payment and get paid in USD, as Bitpay does for bitcoin? That would be awesome. Other than that, very good looking website. Best of luck with that.

Explain to me please how the third party processors are immune to regulagion if your servers are in Panama, I am not sure you are bulletproof (see MtGox)... They can always freeze and confiscate your accounts and force 3rd party processors to stop the deals with you. Sorry for being pushy but I have been burned many times (btc24, btcCentral, mtgox...)

The servers being in Panama is for anonymity (check their laws). The important thing is they are not US hosted. MtGox and others used US based payment processors, such as Dwolla; had servers based in the US; or were directly involved in bank/wire transfers. All of which this exchange won't do. This is only an example, but say https://perfectmoney.com and http://payza.com are two of the processors. They take care of the deposit through wire transfer, western union, or any other method available. You'd use that to fund your CryptoAve USD balance. So a middle man always performs the actual financial transactions through the banking system.

The first shares were given to donators as a bonus. I will be having an auction today for 10,000 shares.
Dividends will definitely be declared and distributed. The percentage will likely be somewhere between 10-15% of net income until the exchange builds up reserves. After that point, dividends will be 100% of net income.

Most if not all bitcoin "companies" registered or not can do the exact same, BTC-e for example. There are no guarantees in virtual currency.

AUCTION ---------- This is the only auction of CryptoAve shares before launch. Shares give you the right to claim declared dividends. All net income will either go to retained earnings for building reserves, or be declared as dividends and distributed proportionally. SPECS ---------- Shares available = 10,000 (10% of planned shares) Minimum bid per share = 5 DGC Minimum increment = 1 DGC Shares per auction round = 1,000 shares FORMAT -------- To make it clear that you are bidding, start your post with BID. There will be 10 rounds of bidding. Each round has 1,000 shares. A round ends when there are no higher bids for 12 hours. The winner of each round receives 1,000 shares. If you want to bid 10 DGC per share, you would do so by multiplying the 1,000 shares available per round by the DGC per share you are bidding. ExampleBID: 1,000 shares @ 10 DGC per share = 10,000 DGC WINNERS ---------- The top bidder will be declared the winner. If the top bidder does not finalize the offer within 24 hours, the next bidder gets the opportunity. The next round starts when the previous round has a declared winner. WHERE TO BID ----------------- Digitalcoin Forum: http://digitalcoin.co/forums/index.php/topic,125.0.html

fuck that, too expensive per share! i guess its to late for me to renig on my contributions to the Dev Fund. I think all contributors/donators to the dev fund should get one share out of respect, but then again i'm drunk on a saturday and i'm a bit biased

Located in Panama sounds good to me. "Overall opening a corporation in Panama is a good idea because of the flexibility and privacy it offers. People in Panama are happy to keep your information secret and even stay out of your information."http://www.offshorelegal.org/offshore-corporations/panama-offshore-corporations-incorporation/staying-anonymous-in-panama.htmlOh yeah and to top it off a damn good rock tune written about it too https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w-NshzYK9y0I never understood what guarantees someone has that his assets will be secured by opening a corporation (company) in Panama or similar country. I mean if I would like to open a company there who do I have to trust? Do I need to go there to do I it personally or how is this done? Internet if full of companies that offers offshore company setups packages so how can I know that this are not scams. Maybe they can even open a company with a bank account there but when the money starts accumulating on the account what is the guarantee that it won't suddenly disappear? Funny thing is - your pension pot can disappear just as easy, nothing is guaranteed in our world anymore Is not funny but is true anyway if it does not disappear until I retire I think it will be so worthless that it will be like it disappeared.

Didn't all donations for the fundraiser already get 0.1 share per DGC... so that's equivalent to 10000 DGC per 1000 shares already. What are you getting at? How is an auction too expensive? Only bid what you can afford?

It's likely it will release with full fiat capabilities. Currently, we are looking at 1.5-2 months to complete programming and testing.

This is an important initiative i would say if you are a US citizen as i know the Johns are. as the USD is/was about its final stage of collapse there may be a huge influx from worthless USD to Crypto. this , people believe was partly why the rush to war with Syria , QE is a confirmed failure , you are coming up to 4 Trillion inflated. the Japanese are looking ultra shaky and the Chinese are furiously stockpiling gold . http://rt.com/op-edge/china-control-world-currency-707/the initial idea that one may crash the US and the USD destroy that nation financially and bring in a "global currency" has unfortunately not worked out for a number of reasons primarily The Russian Federation . so the collapse of the western "half" of the world will achieve no real aim, and that's being conspiratorial , as I really actually know the system just fell apart. Unfortunately the USA may be heading into dark times , this is not me being negative this is a rational theory that is derived by looking at the Russian collapse of the Soviet system that made way for the present superior system. The Russian Federation turned their nation around to be what now is seen as one of the premier nations in the world in record time, their are many other variables to take into account with regards to the US collapse. I hope this exchange is up and running soon and I wish you guys all the best, it will be great to have a look at it once up and running.

I'm willing to give baritus the benefit of the doubt that he is working on the exchange, however showing me a webtemplate with some logos and a chart installed is progress, but its not enough to convince me. see pirateat40 or the now obvious scammers behind UNOCS

Baritus take all the time in the world for security testing. That should be the number 1 priority... Even if exchange is delayed for extra security testing! Predict all possible attacks and worst scenarios...
THX. The exchange looks beautiful! Will it support international bank transfer? (Europe)

well I looked at the original topic and of the sites listed that accepted digitalcoins. coingas and cryptosextoys no longer do. Coingas in particular seems to be like a major player when it comes to alts I think.

I bought some shares As a shareholder, I must say it makes no sense not to add the most highly traded alt coins to an alt coin exchange. I get that it's a smart move putting the coins you developed on there, but adding PPC and XPM would increase trade volume, making the share value go higher, as well as attracting more traders to the exchange which would increase the value of the other coins traded there. It's win win. I don't think the exhchange can be taken seriously without PPC and XPM, they add additional legitimacy to the exchange. People will wonder why they aren't there. Please reconsider

Please reconsider BTC-E was taken seriously without XPM up until yesterday. However, I do agree with you to an extent. It would be wise to at least consider the top 3 largest volume alt coins (other than LTC). The issue is if you add one, then why not another? I wouldn't want CryptoAve to become another Cryptsy/Bter with so many listings it gets confusing. Even Cryptsy is starting to realize that they have too many are are starting the process to get some delisted. My personal suggestion, even though some are direct competitors, it might be wise to seriously consider adding FTC, XPM, PPC, CGB, ANC and even WDC to an extent. Simply for the popularity factor and to attract more clientele.

-Fast deposits and withdrawals of fiat that caught my eye.. and if you can support to or from Canadian bank accounts or maybe even Paypal that would be cool edit: by the way if your adding mostly coins you released early on i have no problem with that.. as it stands right now it looks like your adding a service to coins you already made so that is fine with me.. people complain about no support or services for a coin released.. well here you have it guys.. and your bitching and complaining ? lol If his project gets of the ground flyin' i am willing to bet common sense dictates he will look at adding other coins getting in early to bitch xyz coin isn't added seems dumb to me. good luck from your faithful Securecoin Supporter lol

Yeah if CryptoAve is done right which hopefully it will be, it could really give the likes of BTC-e a run for its money. I'm glad Baritus is taking his time and doing it properly. He will be able to learn from all the mistakes of the other exchanges so far and put things in place to hopefully stop these issues occuring. From what I know he won't be adding other coins straight away but after that quite possibly. I guess keeping only the big name coins like btc and ltc and then also src, arg, dgc which he devs will make for a more streamlined site and hopefully smooth and fast trade engine. Really looking forward to testing in November which as I was told is still on track.

This is the Alt exchange ive been looking for, DGC and SRC have always been my fav coins, please put a donate function in too, so real fans can invest in future services, ill pay an extra .1% on trades to know its helping out.
I think at some stage new coins should be added at like 2 a year ! , but under insanely tight restrictions, with active devs and community behind these coins, not a pump dump group pushing their coins out. Go baritus !

i cannot believe realsolid generated 10,000 BTC from selling his shares.. this exchange seems much more impressive and ambitious, mcxnow doesn't even have fiat trading but since it is one of the few on the scene and realsolid made it so easy for the general public to buy them the coins just flowed right into his hands. we need cAve out asap before barebones operations like this drain the unknowing public! i mean, a service that enables trading coins for $USD, as well as money services for merchants and a loan program via a virtual bank... like damn, this is exactly what the cryptocurrency world needs, not just btc/altcoins but the tools to utilize them! looks like cryptoave is positioned to make a huge impact in a market ravenous for such services; i sure as hell am not going to miss this. hurry baritus the time is nigh! i for one am excited most about these merchant services, even though i'm not a merchant myself. even BTC is still mainly an investment.. we need the services to sustain an actual economy, not just speculation! it's inevitable that they will arise and we're seeing the first of it right here still waiting for the day i can do all my online shopping with coins. once that finally gets established as mainstream cryptos will explode. the future is blindingly bright here thank you baritus for your selfless attitude in advancing the crypto world!

The bank will be a part of this project. It should be integrated into CryptoAve about 2 months after the initial release. But yes, CryptoAve and the "bank" were part of the fundraiser. The time is nearing and dgc is still cheap as chips!

Months of development for something that could be done in a few weeks time. well he got a headstart with his bootstrap framework, website template, and javascript frameworks, but i still think we're ahead by a mile http://dev.openex.pwall this to say that, especially with node.js and other javascript frameworks, plus the integration of usd into the exchange, its atleast somewhat understandable the amount of time it is taking baritus to complete CryptoAve, especially if he is going it alone without a team/partner

I've now posted screenshots of the testing in the OP. As they are from testing, not all pairs have trades, and the graph is reflecting the extremes of trading that I'm trying out.

Good call, but still... the page went from "coming soon" too some user and password request (http basic auth), and the thread didn't get refreshed with any news. Do we have an idea on the final date when this exchange goes live to the public?
I am very impressed, and hope this comes fruition as an actively traded exchange.
Digital Coin is truly a stand out Alt Coin, with a reliable reputation.
Please keep quality coins only on your exchange and do not lose that focus.
This a breath of fresh air in a Cyrpto World full of scam and gimmick coins.
Best of Luck! Stew

Honestly I was a big believer of DGC/SRC but the design of this exchange is pretty crap. If I'm not full screen I have to scroll down for any useful info. Dashboard info is entirely inadequate. Hope there is a serious revamp/upgrade before this goes live.

Harsh. It looks pretty good to me. Neat and clean design without being cluttered with useless crap all over the site. CryptoAve was built from the ground up and with a focus on being fast and able to handle alot of volume. Its not some knock off or rushed out open source crappy exchange either. Anyway speed and functionality are more important which is what CAve will have also.

Anyone having email verification problems with CAve try using a different email address for now and get it changed later when the issue is resolved. Hotmail definitely works as I just made another test account 10 mins ago. The email did go to my spam folder but I still recieved it.
Cheers,

Critical email delivery issues can be fixed with DKIM, I don't use it myself but I know it can get rid of problems, especially with Yahoo.
In my experience Yahoo are not a good email service provider, they block who they like for how long they like.

I now identify email in a different method and it goes through to all inboxes I tested (more than 10 public domains and my own).
