If there is one market one can play well and never lose it is crypto because you need to just follow a simple strategy because things happen very fast, don't be surprise to see BTC around $25k by march

No need to, even with this drop I am still up 7 folds. For me, the best time for profit is during the downtrend. Take advantage of the negative.  Wink

A little nervous, but the realization that it normally calms me. Moreover, such a drawdown - an incentive to buy coins.

I share your optimism and also believe that bitcoin and other crypto currencies will grow, but I'm worried that now we can miss the moment to purchase cheap coins that are expected to grow in the future

If you did not sell bitcoin earlier when it was much higher, then I think you should not sell now. Now it's better to leave the monitor and do other things, and come back when the price will be higher)

Not nervous, but I think this crash set back the price progress by a couple of months, it's going to take quite some time for altcoins to recover. Other than that, I feel pretty confident that all prices will eventually bounce back.

Its kind of mixed feeling. I knew that this day would come and I had thought that I would have exited crypto and be into fiat when it came, however like most of the people I am also caught off guard. However I know that this will not last for too long, so I will just sit back and let it pass.

just hold and wait. that is the best way you can do now. if you sell you will lose. if not, you also can sell and invest in other altcoins. But the fact is that most coins are falling down now.

Fear, uncertainty and doubt (FUD) are always present when the market takes a dump and the bleeding seems to be never ending.  The key is not to trade with your emotions.  This isn't the first time the market has bled.  Every time there has been blood, the wounds have healed and makes bitcoin/altcoins stronger.

Since the market is going down and down are you worried about your Bitcoin? I saw someone asking what to do with his/her bitcoin? S/he has 12 bitcoin. What are you doing with your bitcoin?

There wlll always be a time that a market have to go through a bear trend. This is one of them for cryptocurrency. But there is nothing to worry. Bitcoin has always bounce back from every FUD there is. It will surely bounce back from this. Just keep on hodling and everything will eventually be fine.

Of course I am worried, by blockfolio tells me my assetes have lost half of their value overnight. Of course, at this point there is no alternative than holding.

No. And most are even happy because they will be able to buy more. Your friend should have sold some of her bitcoin last December when the price is very high. Buy now, hold then sell when the price is in your liking.

Since the market is going down and down are you worried about your Bitcoin? I saw someone asking what to do with his/her bitcoin? S/he has 12 bitcoin. What are you doing with your bitcoin?

I think everybody was sort of expecting this drop. This is a totally natural move for the BTC market and there's nothing about it. It just helps for some people to sell their bitcoins, if they wanted, and it also helps others to buy even more bitcoins at lower prices.

For instance, if you have been hodling the bitcoins since 2015, you might actually want to buy some more right now.

The idea is that we don't know yet whether the bitcoin's ceiling is. Whenever we reach it, we might actually understtand that it's its ceiling and know that it's not going to higher. However, the problem is that if you have a lot of bulls, buying BTC, they might be able to break through any ceiling you can imagine to exist.

In terms of the bears, I'm not sure that there's that many bears. So, this is what might be happening:

1) the hodlers just go on with their own business and don't pay much attention to the current pricing
2) the bulls don't want to buy BTC yet, since they don't feel that the bottom has been reached. Whenever some good news comes out, they will believe that the bottom has been reached and start buying.
3) there's not that many bears. It's just that some people decide to sell their bitcoins. There's more bears and than the bulls, this depresses the price. But it doesn't mean that the hodlers are ready to sell out whenever BTC reaches 7K, 5K, or even 3K. It can easily go down to 3K and then move up to 50-100K. Quite easily. Just zoom it and see for yourself the past history.

I am not worried at all. I have certain investment in BTC and I can't lose it, since I have 30-year-plus-hodl strategy, so this means that there's nothing in the world that can make me get concerned. I just don't care. I'm in it for the long run.
