I tried to read the linked article, taken to Quora page demanding Google or Facebook login. Both of these companies have been collaborating with the NSA to spy on their users. Also, Facebook tracks its users across the internet using their IP addresses. Could you please just post the article here?

Thanks.

Do you have any peer-reviewed studies showing that having people fight your movement is actually predictive of future success? Or are you just relying on a (probably misattributed) quote from a guy who lived 100 years ago?

didnt read the article but to answer the topic question..

NO

and this is why

banks and governments are not fighting bitcoin, what they are trying to do is reduce the risk of scams and launderers abusing bitcoin which then chain reacts to abuse their beloved FIAT.

if you feel like you are in a battle with banks or regulators then this is because you have never honestly read the details of banks or regulators to know exactly what you can do, thus you now have them on your back.

basically if u want to be transferring hundreds of thousands a day/week of FIAT, then don't be ignorant to regulations purely because the other half of your business is bitcoin related.

I DO NOT TRADE OR ACT AS ESCROW ON THIS FORUM EVER.
Please do your own research & respect what is written here as both opinion & information gleaned from experience. many people replying with insults but no on-topic content substance, automatically are 'facepalmed' and yawned at

Ok.

So in your mind then, what exactly would having them fight bitcoin look like?

Bitcoin is the ultimate freedom test. It tells you who is giving lip service and who genuinely believes in it.

There are no 'contents' I could see, its just a question, and you have "credits" upon you can call on people to answer the question.

What an irritating site. I'm going to throw away the registration that came with this, seeing how it produces zero informative content.

Like Facebook, Quora.com is about tracking users, and cataloging their interests, affiliations, and contacts.

Quora was co-founded by 2 former Facebook employees.
Quora requires users to register with their real names.

Bitcoin users might want to avoid using sites such as these, unless they know how to take extraordinary precautions (more than just a fake name).

I know.  That is not fun.
