This is a little off topic but the thing is I am a fed up with centralized exchanges, among with a lot of people I believe. Personally I think some "incident" will happen with every single one of them, it is just a matter time. When that happens, you won't be able to do anything if you have balance in the exchange, only pray.
I was a great etherdelta enthusiast before they get sold and become centralized. The best thing is that you can interact directly with ledger nano S.
I've tried waves decentralized exchange, worked ok but I don't know, it is not fully decentralized.
Any thoughts?

You can move this to Service Discussion (Altcoins) board.

I think the best decentralized exchange is Idex. I also like Etherdelta and Waves Dex but Idex is starting to gain customer confidence and you can find different coins that have big potential. I hope it will be bigger and we won't need any centralized exchanges in the future.

The biggest ones I know are Waves, BitShares, and EtherDelta. Out of those 3 I have really only used Waves and EtherDelta and despite ED stupid interface I prefer using that exchange because they have bigger selection of coins. Waves in my opinion however, will be a big platform one day look at how the centralized exchanges can't handle the traffic.

Agreed on EtherDelta, I don't know why it has so much volume it's the worst website I've ever used. IDEX looks good, thanks for the recommendation.

I love and hate Ether Delta. It has given me the opportunity to buy and sell many low marketcap coins that can't get on a regular exchange, but the stress level that it has also produced has been too much. Though once you understand it gets better. But it's pretty frustrating.

I think IDEX is the best one about right now, volume is still lacking but it's growing day by day. Their ICO only just completed and they've got big plans for the future. Kyber is the main one to watch once their launch in February, if all goes well they can dominate the DEX market and even just the exchange market all together.

it's full of dex, their problem is the liquidity, one that was working pretty good was Etherdelta but after the hack is not the same and also before it was a pain to trade there! My advice is to look at ZRX and all the relayer ecosystem behind, because they will share the liquidity !

Unfortunately for all of us, best decentralized exchange is still EtherDelta.

They are slow, user interface is terrible, but they have biggest volume and coin options from all decentralized exchanges around.
