Hi I've managed to get my hands on a 5ghs jalapeno and i've noticed some people talking of a firmware update that takes it up to 8ghs. I don't suppose anyone know's how you might go about achieving such a thing or if it's possible?

Cheers Smiley

The Bitcoin software, network, and concept is called "Bitcoin" with a capitalized "B". Bitcoin currency units are called "bitcoins" with a lowercase "b" -- this is often abbreviated BTC.

If you're not sure you can do it, don't do it yet.  Wait until the device breaks even.  Which means you'd probably never do it at all. :-)

Butterfly Labs has a different interpretation of the FTC Mail Order Rule.  You do not have a refund option with the BFL Monarch no matter how late they ship.

yeah i'm pretty sure I can do it but it literally only arrived today so i think i might leave it for a bit. It'd be good to enjoy it for a while yet. It runs at about 5.6 anyway so it's not too bad Smiley
