yes, it appears they just merged. even my other client that was on some original CPUcoin chain with ~6000 nodes now is quickly syncing up to quarkcoin's 89000 blocks.

epic lulz.

I have deleted this shit scam coin. I have mined and all my coins are away and the client dont sync anymore. And I have nothing got from the giveaway like many others too. This developer is a scammer and want make fast money only and not give us an innovative new coin. So there is not an alternative to XPM and Quarkcoin at this time.

It started with 2048 CPC per block so that would be 17.4 mill premine. Think people started mining at 8500 blocks or so.
It was released in China Bitcoin community August 18 at block 150.

It was released here to the international Bitcoin  community today at around block 8500.

Most mining in the last 2 days was done in China.

which china bitcoin community?

Any word on why you lied about the hashing algortihm?

Why do you ignore these questions?

MrDigriz949: oh sh!t, I am famous: 15 min fork, just for test "how does it work" + asking to compile it for windows on bitcointalk, results: CPUcoin is RELEASED in "Alternate Crypto" by person who compiled it, original topic removed by moderator and i am famous... LOL. I don't know what to think about it... *CRAZY*

scam, a bad one.

i didn't look into the source, but this clone looks very cheap. so would it be possible to overwrite the current blockchain with the QRK chain when you connect one node to the QRK and CPC network at same time?

edit:
Nice experiment: coin which use QRK blockchain Smiley
Put all my hashrate back to QRK to secure QRK blockchain.
we had the same idea?

even easier, copy the QRK chain into CPC client Smiley

Chains have merged: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=278324.0

CPU coin is dead now.

Too bad that we haven't discovered earlier that it was 1:1 copy of Quarkcoin, and furthermore, not only a code copy, but it used even the same genesis block  Shocked

This could have chance IMO if it had real whirpool hashing and all premine would be given to users (with evidences of all transactions)

Too bad, totally wasted day...
