no. Your coins wont get disapear if you hold it for a longer time because many of us do also hold our coins but guess what? Our coins is still safe and sound. It doesnt matter how long or how short you hold your coins because what matter the most is your carelessness on how you handle your coins. in my case ,

my plan is to hold my coins as long as i am not contented on the current value of bitcoin. If bitcoin reaches 19 to 20k again , i maybe withdraw half of my holdings in order to treat my self and celebrate.

How can they disappear? And can't your dollars (or whatever you cash out in) disappear? There are so many robbers today as well!

I think it is more secure to hold crypto than to hold fiat. No need to say that it is more profitable as well.
