I'm so bullish on Waves. Even if Waves tech is not state of art but it has a pretty good roadmap in 2018.

Don't spend all your ETH in Waves, I guess split it into 50% on Waves is a wise choice Smiley

I have 3 ETH and i want to buy some Waves and hold it for long time. Which will be the best option? Buying Waves or Hold ETH!

I wouldn't suggest you to sell ETH, just compare ICOs that use Waves and ICOs that take advantage of Ethereum, and it's because Waves underperform comparing to ethereum: even though smart contracts are not as complex because of built-in plug-ins, blocks time is almost two times longer, price and, which is more important - Market Cap is much lower (about 1000 times lower, if I'm not mistaken),  For me Ethereum is second to Bitcoin and I would never exchange it for Waves.

Your information is full of crap.

Waves is significantly faster than Ethereum. The reason it's not a popular ICO platform (yet) is because it has no smart contracts. Once smart contracts get implemented (in Q1 2018) Waves will have a significant edge over Ethereum from a technical point of view.
Waves can handle up to 1000 transactions per seconds, meanwhile the whole Ethereum blockchain virtually stopped when crypto kitties added a mere ~8 transactions per second to the Ethereum network.

You definitely should hold ETH, don't sell it. Waves isn't that stable like ETH.

Why would you choose when you can actually hold both coins, it is a good investment and you didn't risk all your money in a single cryptocurrency your money. I would rather choose to divide my money into different altcoins.

I wouldn't keep Waves over Ethereum either because there's low volume in their decentralized exchange platform.

Decentralized exchnages just one of the feature of Waves Platform. And they're announced liquidwave recently.

Both option are good. I am holding 400 waves and some ETH but i think waves holding can bring more profit than Ethereum. You have to decide which option you will choose.
Problem with waves is not being supported much unlike eth which have a huge numbers of supporters even the value already huge, I can say that most
part of your investment should be place inside eth and then portion can be place with waves, but better to have a deeper knowledge with those two projects as they can really move in different directions and mostly patience is what you need investing with coins who already been pumped so hard.

Eth is much more better, and for me, it will go higher than what waves is increasing at the moment (ETH in one day went from $800 to $1100) (waves -> $9 to $10 MAX)

Let's see, but waves is crap compared to Ethereum.

If I think the best option is to hold eth. Because seeing price eth rises fast enough and more people use eth than waves. therefore I also hold eth  Grin

Yes it is true, but both coins have own potential, have own limitation and have own risks. I think whatever you choose in ethereum and waves it will gave you income but it is depends on how can you handle it.

Both is good and for sure  few years it will become more popular and for sure the price is very high.  You have 3 ethereum in your wallet and if you want to invest your ethereum to  waves coin.  I suggest invest only the 1.5 ethereum and the other half is for holding ethereum.  Because it's better if you invest both because this coin a potential.  Like waves coin possible to become hundreds dollars before end of this month and ethereum possible to become $5000. But you have the right to choose what is better to invest is either waves or ethereum.  You need to think wise for that because possiblr you gain profit in the future.

Even thought Waves is an up and coming challenger to Ethereum, ETH is still king! For the time being, until we see more project launched on Waves, I would invest into ethereum. At the end of the day, Ethereum, can be used to participate in ICO, so it goes beyond face value.

Both are good investments, so the safe choice would be to hodl a few of both. I personally think waves will has a better chance of going 10x from its current price, than Ethereum has.
my personal prediction about ethereum are the value itself must be at least 20% of bitcoin value . which means if bitcoin price are $10,000 then eth should be at $2,000 or so and so on , it still has a future to grow for eth .

but yes , waves for now it has a lot of space to grow with how a lot people get frustrated with bitcoin market.
Ethereum and Waves coin are very competitive, I never doubted whatever I choose to invest because I guarantee that in the future prices of both coins are largely increase. This both coins are the sleeping giants of crypto currency I know it's hard to believe it for now but when time come we can see the larger changes happen.

Just try to split it in half to buy some waves so that it will make you more profit, waves is also good altcoins that you choose. Perhaps waves can be invest in a long term and you will noticed your not wrong with your dicision.

Can anyone tell me why there is so much hype behind Waves? Don't know much about it.

I get ETH though. So that's my go-to choice now.

These altcoys have different purposes, you have to decide what you expect from your investments in order to continue your purchases.

now because the ethereum is better because the price is higher and you are not really earning the waves because the price of ethereum is greater today.

Ethereum for hold. I think Eth has a better future. in terms of technology or innovation. proven blockchain ethereum that has been used many altcoin and believed to be used as basic altcoin. I think ethereum is able to prove it to stay afloat in the future. maybe the wave too, but the existence of ethereum will be better. or maybe it would be better if you divide for his investment. you can divide the 2 eth for the hold and 1 eth for the wave, maybe better if that way.

It would be more logical to keep the etherium. I think he has more opportunities to grow in price. Especially at the etherium for 2018 grandiose plans.
