ETH grows stronger than WAVES. That's why I choose the ETH. But I have a few WAVES, which I decided to keep for several years. This is a reliable project.

I have 3 ETH and i want to buy some Waves and hold it for long time. Which will be the best option? Buying Waves or Hold ETH!
Don't get me wrong but I think waves is not that promising when it comes to investment unlike etherium that is a bit a competition for Bitcoin. Investing to waves in my opinion, won't be that much profitable so I'll suggest you to choose etherium which is obviously more indemand in the market that will result to profit once its value starts to go up. |

Waves has a good and solid roadmap, a good Dev Team and a great project. The problem is that they are horrible at marketing so Waves didn't have very good results in the past 2 months. But it will increase in value for sure, they are working on Smart Contracts so this will make a huge difference, they have a DEX that works pretty well, a nice wallet and a good community. I wouldn't go 50%/50% but to put 20% in Waves is a smart idea.

I would say in past 6-8 months. I watch it and follow for a long time and Ethereum grow much more than Waves without any huge dev updates. I have to agree that best perfomance would be 70-75% ethereum and onlt 20-25% waves. |

When u compare Eth with Waves, ETH is far away better but for investment I think Waves is better choice because of low price Waves is strong coin will go up very soon.

Yes I think waves is a good project, and now the market is very good to buy waves for the deversification of its portfolio.

ETH is my fav coin but ETH now has very high price, Waves has very serious project and strong team I think their price is too low now I think they ll have to grow up more Its more wise to invest in WAVES.

keep two ether, and swap one to waves. Ether is a very good token for a hodl strategy, but waves has also a lot of potential because it is a very good platform.Waves platform is in some ways very usefull for waves token icos, and it didnt show us all the potential it has. Also waves has a lot of support in russian community as almost all team is russian. |

there is a long way to classificate waves with eth. I am the believer of waves by the way but in long term investment. Eth shows the power of itselves if i were you %30 waves %70 eth

If I had to choose only one option, I would prefer Eth, because its blockchain is the base for almost all the projects that go for ICO every day, and there are plenty of them. But in your current situation I would split the money equally and hold both coins.

My opinion if you like to by something but not sure that is better for holding, buy 50% and 50% for holding. |

Etherium is at at the moment superior than any other coins. Waves has a potential to be much better than ETH in near future. But Waves has a weak spot is that it doesn't have smart contracts yet. In my opinion, investing in more reliable coins like Etherium will be a safer investment.

Since July 2017 WAVES fell more than twice (in comparison to BTC). I think that it is a very long time for crypto market, because during this period ETH increased several times and the project began to develop more rapidly. That is why I prefer ETH.

Both has good and solid platform but waves arent that matured like ethereum,ethereum platofrm is one of a kind which smart contracts has started its main purpose is to easily apply blockchain technology thru its platform which gives people freedom to use the technology for free. |

I think it is better to hold ethereum than trying to buy some waves. Because ethereum has a bigger community, development support, and there are already a lot of other coins works on ethereum blockchain. So I prefer Ether and hope it will more profitable then waves.

If I'm not mistaken, you have a lot of money right now? How long did you hold you 3 eth? If you are holding 3eth now then just stop buying waves it is better to buy other coins that would you feel it has a potential to increase the price. I have also account on waves and have a balance from there but I'm not holding a big amount of waves. Unlike ethereum it carries big surprises when the price increases. |

It is exactly the truth,ETH is far better than Waves when it comes to user interface and the platform but the best form of investment is to invest in coins which have lower valuation,ETH has grown a lot in terms of price but that is not the case with Waves,it still have the potential to grow bigger and as an investor i would go with a coin with lower valuation with potential. |
