Ethereum and Waves are both good and have a potential. But for me I rather choose to Hold is Ethereum. The Ethereum community is stronger than waves. Just like bitcoin nowadays.

I think that it will be right to diversify risks.
ETH is a respected and well known platform for many, on the basis of which many tokens are created and most of the ICO is conducted.

It's O.K. if you want to go down the centralised route to volume and speed.

However, Ethereum & Waves are, and will remain, decentralised platforms - in the true spirit of Crypto.
Eth, at this time cannot compete with the sheer speed and usability of Waves - but development continues.

I guess the point of this thread is mainly long-term investment - for that Eth and Waves are a good buy. But it is Waves that is very, very undervalued compared to it's tech and so offers the potential of outstanding growth. Eth already pumped big some time ago - it's a good steady investment but even if it beat BTC in capitalisation that would still only be 3x at best. Waves will pump 10 - 100 x at some point, this year.

I would not advise eth to trade on Waves.  ETH is a more reliable and promising coin.  I think the price for eth will grow faster than Waves.

My suggestion is remain on holding ethereum because lots of projects are coming on ethereum blockchain and when those projects are raising funds that is the time ethereum got more and more demand  then ethereum can goes up in value because of that. You can also hold a little bit of waves if you like also the platform of waves.

I prefer Ethereum, because it has high value and highly demanded, and also can be accessed with other device in time of any transaction, while wave only make used of one particular device used to download and very high risk to loose if the system clash, so I prefer Ethereum
