Has anybody tried Discord coin pumping groups? Is it profitable? I have looked at the below one- they have more than 10.000 members, so I think they can affect the market quite a lot ?

You should also know that it is illegal. My opinion is that you should be a little less greedy.

In my opinion pumping and dumping coins is a bad thing because only one party would get to benefit and take profit of a coin. Pump and dumps are created as if they are making believe that your ICO and project as a whole is one of a kind making other investors be fooled by your hyping. I don't like the idea how one side of the trade will suffer because the other side wants to benefit more. If I were you I would only rely on pure technicals as it is the right way on how to earn in cryptocurrency trading.

These kinds of groups target mainly many new crypto investors because they don't understand all these logics until they lose one-time money. Nowadays you can see a lot of signal providing groups in telegram groups does this cross-promotion to increase their members base so that they can grow their follower's list and make easy money for them and some of the paid members in those groups. Don't join any of these pump and dump groups.

First and foremost thing here, you should never trust such groups, and I have reasons to say that:
- Such groups consist of a limited number of members only and a large number of members are bots, be it discord or telegram.
- These people will say something like: We have prepared a pump for today and we will announce it at xx time, and when they let you know about it, it's already pre-pumped to such a level where, if you decide to buy and get in, you'll be made a fool of - by them as they will just ruin your capital by dumping on you.
- As a member already said, it is illegal to "pump" a coin because when it crashes, it doesn't just crash in value but everyone's faith also gets tanked with the doom in price.

I fully agree with that. If one wants to dump others and earn some profit this way, one will be dumped as well. These group aren't interested in you getting profit. I think it's better to follow the natural flows, you know. Coins fluctuate a lot without these groups and with some practice I am sure you can become a good trader. I also think this topic should be moved to Trading or Altcoin discussion, since it has nothing to do with gambling. I guess no pump and dump casino groups are possible anyway

Be careful on joining those pumps and dumps groups cause they might encourage people to get into it so they can make money when the price soar high and then dump later on. You'd better make your own study about how the market works so you can be sure about earning money. Learn more before you make any decision, don't just focus on making money easily.

This is other way of scamming people those groups corrupts the minds of those who believe on them by just making a signal right for the first timer but later on you will end up loosing money because you took too much greed. My friendly advise: Stay away from P&D groups. They will ruin your trading career specially if you are a beginner. Learn it the hard way, those P&D groups has nothing to offer. They will just sink you deeper specially being a newcomer in the market. Go around the forums and see newbies being trap in the market because they joined a P&D and thought that they can gain a lot in short amount of time. But what happened? The one who orchestrated the pump get out in time and took home most of the profits while the newbies was left behind in the closet, can't get out otherwise they will suffer a big lose. They are pure scambags and please don't fall and be trap. You will regret your decision when its too late already.

Exactly, only the local admins and some of his cohorts will benefited from all of its. Its fraudulent, but we can't really stop them. Only thing we can do is to give advise so that newbies will not join such groups.

Dude more or less everything linked to bitcoin is illegal anyway so...
But the thing is that such groups are always pure crap. They're here just to make money themselves. For the rest they don't care.

They'll buy everything beforehand and when you start gathering the coins they'll be the ones selling it to you!

If you joined their main group they will not provide you with any separate single for the time timmers because along with first-timers and all other free members see that post same time. But if you can buy very fast and sell immediately after a small profit then you may be a safer to earn some money otherwise most of the time these free members will lose money from these groups.

Yes, when you see people keep saying something will go up and then a lot of orders go in, you will see they are little amounts because the person is trying to spend a little bit to trick others into buying their coins at more than they are worth.

You need a lot of money behind you to make this work for any reasonable coins, and risk losing it all and facing prison or fines. Not a good plan.
