Dev, what about white paper?

Hello! Thanks for inquiring! We are currently working on growing our team so that we may expedite project milestones. The white paper is a top priority, and we'll be posting it as soon as it's complete!

I also want to question about whitepapers, this is very important for a coin, it could be the identity in it we all need to know.

Yes - we are working really hard on getting our white paper completed as soon as possible. We agree that it's a vital document for all projects to have!

Really interresting project. Is it possible to run a masternode on Windows?

Hi! We require sentinel and don't currently have a supported workflow for Windows. It might be possible to run it through python in Windows and use the task scheduler to make it run every minute....looking into this is currently on the to-do list as many people have asked for it. I've been working on a more comprehensive guide for the Linux VPS hot/cold wallet setup that is full of screenshots and explanations of the commands to help users that aren't familiar with Linux. Once that's done and available, we'll look at a Windows setup as an option. We've also been supporting quite a few users through Discord and the community has been assisting as well, so anyone that is stuck should feel free to drop in there for assistance. Thanks for the interest!

There are currently 16 WATCHDOG_EXPIRED nodes.  I was going to invest in this coin, but I have only Windows.  Oh Well!!

Just a heads up that there have been at least two users get burned recently on private transactions (we strongly discourage private transactions as the chance of being taken advantage of is quite high). On Discord, we've banned anyone that we're aware that has misappropriated transactions or attempted to, but that's not going to protect everyone. If someone is offering to sell you an amount at well below the current exchange Bids....you should definitely stop and question as to why they aren't just filling Bid orders at a rate that is higher than what they're offering you....it's possible that they're just trying to create a deal that looks too good to be true (and probably isn't true).

To better explain our CharityNode beta program, I added this diagram to the giving page on our website - hopefully it simplifies the concept? All feedback welcome! Thanks all!

Would the current setup guide also work with the new Ubuntu Server 17.10.1 ? I have a 20/20mbit internet connection at home and are thinking about the possibility of running a masternode at home with Ubuntu Server 17.10.1 running on a couple of laptops or whatever hardware requirements ther are.

Hasn't been tested but it should be possible. Worst case scenario is that you might have to re-compile Rapture under Ubuntu 17, but that's pretty straightforward and possibly not even necessary. You might also run into an issue if your cold wallet and hot wallet are on the same local network and subnet (it looks for an external ip address when activating the remote masternode). Still, there are workarounds for this as well. Feel free to hop onto Discord if you try it and need any support!

Thank you very much. I will look into it in the weekend and also look into Discord :-) Could be nice if it could work and perhaps on a wm ware setup. I also have another internet connection i the house, however its a little slower. Is there any requirement of bandwith ? Does it consume a large amount of data ?
