Should I donate to charity?

Guys, a lot of us make money on trading and sometimes there's an excess that you don't need. Do you think it's a good idea to donate part of the profits to charity? Whom would you suggest helping first?

It is a good idea. I know people which do not earn a lot of money but nevertheless donate some money to sick children or animals. I totally support them.

I think it is important to be charitable.  Helping and lifting others gives a sense of purpose.  Albert Einstein said --“Only a life lived for others is a life worthwhile.”

As a Christian, i think it is even far better to help the less fortunate in society than even paying tithes that the Bible even demands because those monies are eventually going to be used to cater for the less fortunate in society so using the money to take care of them removes the middleman in the whole equation.

I believe donating to charity is a great thing to do if you have the means to do it. Although there is many rich to average people in the society however there are still a lot of less fortunate people in this world that need the help of people either by money or if you have the time more volunteer work, it can either benefit you either by karma if you believe it or even influence people around you like your child giving them a positive mindset and they will be able to do the same next time when they have the means to do so too.

Having researched some major charities I can safely say that <20% of donations actually end up helping people. A lot of the funds are used for marketing, admin and of course for the owners benefit. Do your research before you give money to any charity. Imo it's a lot more satisfying when you actually see where your money is going. Build a school or a well in impoverished areas. Don't just chuck money at a charity and hope they do something with it.

Yes it's a good idea. For me before I donate to charity first I will help the people around me that need help too.

you cant assure to help those people in need by donating to charity. You better buy some foods and drinks and any other stuff needed by the poor, and give it to them by yourself. By doing so you'll have a clear in mind that your donation did not go to waste.

If for charitable activities, I main right neighbors that need, continued to the orphanage or orphan. In the religious I encouraged to help the weak and poor. And for me to share it was beautiful.

Yes its great idea. We should donate and also motivate Friends and Family for doing same. There are always people out there in need of help. Whether interest rates are rising, the economy is in the doldrums, or even if you're experiencing financial difficulties of your own, the reality is that when you donate your money, you help others who need it.

Why not? Yes, it is right to donate to charity. Give some to the poor people especially with the sick and children choose a charity if you want. Or much better build your charity. As they say, don’t count your blessings, share them.

I have a few friends who happens to be Christians. They have told me that they donate 20% of their wages to the church, and that money is going for charity purposes. I disagreed with them and told them that most of that money will be used to construct new churches and seminaries. Religion has become an organized business today. If you want to donate money to charity, then never give that amount to the religious bodies.

Charity works and donations are the main blessings that open doors to our higher needs. If only you have the means as you say , then I advice you do more charity for God to open more doors for you , besides is a natural law and cosmic world will let you enter your next stage of development.

For me, to whom is childrens who are willing to study and reach they goal or dream. Many peoples are need helps if you are one of the people who seek for doing good for other peoples then it would be great. And people will think your a good guy, people think your hero for them, will be famous who helps people. You'll be star !

In my opinion if u are earn more than ur basic need not luxury ,then u should donate to the people who does not earn to have two times bread in a day.

A voluntary donation of money for children is a wonderful thing. I make small donations to charities, mainly help for sick children -- not that I sick children felt sorry for more than others in need, it just happened.
On the street money don't give, most often it does not help people in need, and funding is a disgusting business, I don't want to have anything to do with it.

This is a question that you yourself can answer. Is the money that you have too much for you to be able to give to the needy? If so, then I do not see anything wrong with that and I think that you should be happy to do it because at some point you are sharing what you have. Although, it shouldn't be always of course, otherwise they will not learn to work hard.

Yes, if the case is you really have the excess money then it's better to at least share what you have. Only one thing is very important to take note of in doing this, Where should your money will go to? And this is your big question, The answer is anywhere but choose the ones the mostly needed it. And be careful in doing so. There are so many cases where the money didn't reach their recipient. They rob it in front. So make a research first in your locality. Try Orphanage, Home for the Aged, etc. You can also play Santa Claus by giving directly to the needy. For sure you'll be very happy to see the smile in their faces.

In my country the biggest problem is poverty. If i earn a lot of money in this crypto world, of course i will donate to charity. I want to help those in need in case I succeed in bitcoin.
