yes the price now is climbing again to 12k value .maybe the bitcoin price will continue to surge now to the top And for sure this is the right time to buy and hold to gain more profits.

I am not sure if now the price will soon rise. I am more of a think that the price will probably drop to $ 2k. I still wait for the price to go down again. 'profit?' that I got when the price dropped 3 days back, and now I am waiting for the price lower than now.It will happen I strongly believe this

Are not you being optimistic in exaggeration? 40k is a very big increase for little time and without big and good news, we are below  $13000. the best we can think of is $17000 or $19000 at the most

I somewhat agree with this price levels because, before 14th February we may see a new ATH as all the technical analysis are repeatedly saying that we are going to break again $20k price levels.

I am expecting bitcoin to break $20k price level before the end of this January and by mid of February we can expect prices to cross $25k price levels. But, no one can be sure what is going to happen and it may cross $40k price levels also. Because I'm expecting bitcoin prices to test $100k level by end of this year but it may be $200k price levels also.

If you are so confident, then sell all your coins right now, and use futures or options to short Bitcoin. People like you will end up buying on the way up when you finally understand that you will not get what you are looking for. If you seriously believe that one Bitcoin can be worth $2000 again, you don't know much about this market and the cost of having one Bitcoin minted. It wasn't all that long ago where people said the same when the price just topped the $1000 level. According to them it wouldn't take long before the market would hit the $500 range again, and look where we stand right now. Let me know when you have bought yourself short exposure through futures or options. I however am sure you don't have the balls to do that.

Coin marketcap is one of the worst indicators. Only noobs look at it and say... wow...so much money..such investment.
The cap dropped by 200 billions with only around 50-50 billions in actual trade.It is inflated, unrealistic and a lot of so called "investors" are throwing or rather flushing their money just because a coin has a big market cap.

No, there is no ATH coming that soon. Considering the last one was over inflated by that Ripple pump , it's goign o take some time.

Not to raise a polemic here but what does the cost of minting or mining have to do with bitcoin's price? Bitcoin is not like gold or oil or whatever where you can't arbitrarily adjust the "difficulty" of extraction. But with bitcoin, mining will never stop at any price, even at $1. People will just wait till the mining difficulty adjusts to lower hashrates, and then they will start mining again, now with videocards or even cpus when videocards are no longer economically viable.

Those who were patient when the price was falling are now getting their reward and those panic sellers are regret selling their coins.
Every time bitcoin price falls, we should wait for a new all time high and seems that this time is same as before.

Mooning will be slow I think, many newbie investors got scared, even few of my known mates are now scared. But yes, it will go up I guess till where it was few weeks ago that is around $15000 within few weeks if everything goes as it is going. The controversy is not ending at all, recently in India bank accounts of many exchanges were suspended, and rumors have been initiated about Exchange ban as other countries.

Yes...we are. for now but I don't think it will be faster the way we all might have expected. Because of the recent dip, the growth and price of bitcoin will take it time to pumps like we might have expected. And the good thing is that every day, the price is pump.hopefully, we might close the year with a good price. Nah, not really for the meantime because bitcoin is not yet ready to fly to the moon but i wonder if everyone was not trying to sell their coins since it is not yet recovering at the moment. But it is the right time to buy because it's too cheap and the wait is over for investing.

You're aware that marketcap is somewhat nonsense, right? It's just a mere multiplication of the current price and the circulating supply so when the price changes even a small amount the marketcap changes a lot. A new ATH will have to wait. We are at a bearish market now. Let the bull rest.

More likely 40k is going to be the second half of this year. Could it happen by summertime? Sure.. but we'll see. I think at the very least we'll be in an ATH by next month, whatever amount that happens to be, but most likely between the range of 20-25k. Who knows though, once the bull market starts it gets investors excited and that might cause a huge spike. Again, we'll see. No reason to panic or get excited either way just yet.
