If you can go into the purse on which you sent the tokens, then all is well and your tokens should be on it.

The only possible thing to access your coin through myetherwallet that requires privatekey, as long as you are still holding your privatekey and you will be able to get your free token. But remember exodus is not easy as mew because you can't put add custom coin in exodus. that means of mew is the only way to access your coin.

Are you holding the privatekey of that address ? or you use ethereum address from exchanger wallet ? If you hold your own privatekey, go to myetherwallet and add the token information such as name symbol and desimal. If you not holding the privatekey thats mean you can access the token.

If the ETH wallet you received the ERC20 token was an EXODUS wallet then the support link from EXODUS that you posted on how to recover the tokens is pretty much self-explanatory.

If it is a wallet other than an Exodus, then employ similar steps to recover your tokens as posted in the support link. All you need is to extract your private key from the wallet and use it in the MEW website to recover your tokens.

Some wallets are nit ERC20 compatible, so the tokens sent to those addresses are not acceaaible or we can say in another way you lost your tokens.
The only way to get your tokens visible and then utilize is to import private key in myetherwallet or at etherdelta if your wallet gives you option to do so.
If you have no private key, then unfortunately you have lost tokens for ever
