Missed the party? No mate, the party is just getting started. Look in some coins that have been here for long and are kinda low now, for example, etherium cllaasic, waves, iop, etc. Good luck!

If you want to get profit $500k, you need research and invest $2k in ICO projects. Investing in ICO is one of the most profitable ways. Also invest $3k in promising altcoins NAS, ICX, POWR.

Wow, that's an impressive amount! If I had that much I would invest in Bitcoin and the following cryptocurrencies:

ETH,
XRP,
XMR,
IOTA,
Nxt,
Zcash.

Always remember to diversify your coins because it highly impacts on the amount of your possible income!

- Bitcoin
- Ethereum
- NEO

BTC is manipulated by bears right now and when they let it fly, you'll see it around 19k and maybe 30k later this year. Also, when BTC price will hit the moon, you'll be able to buy alts even cheaper, since their price in BTC usually goes down on the BTC rise.

Ethereum - good long-term investment. Also you can invest in ICOs if you find a good one.

NEO - I just believe it's gonna be the next Ethereum (or next to Ethereum). There are lots of decent ICOs preparing to launch on the NEO platform. Thus, NEO coin will be in high demand.

I think you did not miss the party, but first, never forget that, there is nothing obvious in the cryptocurrency world.

In my opinion, ethereum, litecoin, IOTA or NEO can be good choices to make some investment. But I think it is better if you check the price tables and make your decisions on your own.

You can buy some DeepOnion, right now DeepOnion price under $5. I think this this coin has a great future in 2018 and it is the best time to buy DeepOnion.

DeepOnion has a lot of red flags. Plenty of better anon coins - XMR, ZEC, ZCL, etc. I personally like that ZCL and BTC will do a merged hardfork to BTCP the end of this month. My bet is that will be the new privacy coin people will get behind.

Getting to $500k by mid 2019 without a lot of trading might be little unrealistic. If you buy $5k of BTC or ETH and they go x4 current prices, that would still only be around $20k.

I'd look for coins with bigger potential, and more towards coins with AML compliance than high anonymity. If governments really start to crack down, they'll be safe havens.
