Today, many people use Bitcoin for investment purposes. There are a lot of people who have paid with Bitcoin before, what do you think about this?
I used to buy things with Bitcoin back then when it was cheap, but since I haven’t been doing. When I want to buy things I do it the normal using fiat. I no longer see any use to making use of cryptocurrency in buying the things I need, it’s kind of like wasting time, well I just feel like I shouldn’t be using. I just use Bitcoin for savings now, or should I call it investment? Whatever, I also trade with it. No, I never bought a product with my coins but I regularly use my bitcoin. When I make some coins I cash them out and change them in my local currency and use this money for my daily needs because I have no other job. I just earning money from bounty campaigns and I are very happy. I can earn quite handsome money from my bedroom. It is all because of cryptocurrency. |

It is good that you use your coins for shopping. Gradually more and more people will start using their coins. This is the actual aim of cryptocurrency especially of bitcoin. It is not for making money but most of the people just buy and hold them for their future. It is also good but if we use out coins more and more people will come to know about it and the value of bitcoin will go high. |

I only use bitcoin that I have when I want to buy and pay for something I want, but in my country I still don't have clear rules to make payments using cryptocurrency or bitcoin, so I only use bitcoin when used to buy online and receive payments using bitcoin.

I only use bitcoin that I have when I want to buy and pay for something I want, but in my country I still don't have clear rules to make payments using cryptocurrency or bitcoin, so I only use bitcoin when used to buy online and receive payments using bitcoin.
You have to make sure about the rules of bitcoin in your country in order to avoid something bad. Like in my country, it is not allowed to make payments with other things except local fiat currency. If someone get caught doing it then he/she will get a big problem with the police. |

Its how bitcoin came to this point, from friend to friend, and thats the best way for spreading. I bought games for pc with bitcoins, I wanted to buy I phone with bitcoins but I was scammed here on forum by a reputable member in that time, that was a year ago. I learned in a hard way that when ever you want to buy something use escrow, dont do any business without it. What ever you want to buy with bitcoins its possible, you can always find someone who knows someone, but with using escrow you keep yourself safe. |

I have not spent bitcoin to purchase goods or services via the online platforms. There is simply no merchants accepting bitcoin near me. I look forward to having this experience like booking for hotel, buying a car and other goods.

I have never bought a product with bitcoin that I have. If I have the opportunity to get a high bitcoin price, I will buy a house or land as an investment. Houses and land are valuable assets that will increase every year.
Same as you I have no such experience but I am looking for the chance to buy some, as now it is easy but still I never had any product bought with bitcoin, I am sure after few years everyone, will use only bitcoin to buy goods and in my city there are few markets which use to accept bitcoin as payment and they are announcing free transaction as well just to attract customers and increase the users so good luck to me. Just a few country around the world officially accept bitcoin for payment, thus probably many of us are looking forward to buying commodities or services with bitcoin directly and it’s not except me and many people in my country. But I think it’s alright and actually i keep waiting for some day that I can use bitcoin for paying in my country. It’s pretty great when bitcoin is accepted gradually in some countries, this recognization approved that in the future some other countries will also accept bitcoin officially, too. |

It's not about "country". Yes, most shops that "accept Bitcoin" will actually get fiat in their bank account at the end of the day, but they still accept Bitcoin. It's about the payment processor. A shop can use such a payment processor that will allow multiple means of payment, Bitcoin being one of them. In my country I've seen a few online shops that accept Bitcoin. I've already bought smartphone, monitor, router or tyres with Bitcoin. I've also heard that I can buy car with Bitcoin. Maybe I'll buy one, but Bitcoin has to grow much bigger for that.. |

I'm sure there are still countries that don't legalize bitcoin but we can still find a place to buy products using bitcoin, my country also doesn't legalize bitcoin but at that time I found an online store that sells products directly using bitcoin and I also bought the product more precisely like souvenirs that sell clothes etc., even though the store is currently closed. That store is a branch of a crypto exchange in my country that does not know for sure what is the reason they closed the shop. |

I also used bitcoin for paying bills online with my wallet which is coins.ph and it is very convenient for me to pay no need to go outside. I still didn't try to buy a product online using bitcoin payment but I also want to try when I saw some online shop that is accepting bitcoin. For me it is very convenient for paying. |

Previously I used bitcoin to pay for telephone and electricity, but now I can't use bitcoin as a payment because my country forbids using bitcoin for payments, in today's country bitcoin is only for investment, what I want, bitcoin is illegal in all countries, because in my opinion bitcoin provides a lot of convenience compared to using money

Payment with bitcoin is really amazing. The first time I paid for something with bitcoin was when I bought my ledger nano S. I am in Africa but I was able to pay for a product in France within the click of a button on my computer. I wish we have the chance to be use ibt bitcoin for our daily transactions

To be honest, I have never used Bitcoin as a payment method. Most of people who own BTC will not choose to do that too.
Firstly, there are not many places which receive BTC as payment method.
Secondly, fluctuation in BTC price is too large, which makes pricing other items become very hard.
Thirdly, large fluctuation makes large rent-seeking space so that BTC is more like a financial investment products than a currency.
And what makes the large fluctuation? The lack of faith. Why we believe that a paper has value？Because we believe in the country behind the paper.
Then what is behind BTC or other cryptocurrencies? What can make us all believe? Are we believing now? I don't know.

I have never used Bitcoin or any other cryptocurrency to buy what I need, but I have only bought gift cards with it. I have a BitPay wallet which I don’t make use of regularly, and last year I had money in that wallet so I decided to buy an Amazon gift card with it, which I did. I have heard that you can also buy gift cards from other sites or buy through sites like purse.io but I have never thought of doing that. BitPay is much safe to me. |

I am not really into buying things using crypto because i always use fiat but i have already bought game credits on steam using bitcoin. I enjoy playing sometimes especially when i got bored so bitcoin helped me a lot regarding with this.

Funny, what do you mean a ‘click of a button’? Like you never got to copy address that you’re sending to? The only thing I like about Bitcoin is that it is fast and cheap for making international transactions. If I’m buying products in my country I won’t make use of Bitcoin, there are better options. And if I’m also buying product from someone I’m not sure about, I will prefer to use other methods that has user protection in case it happens to be a scam. Bitcoin is a one time transaction and you can’t reverse it, so not safe for buying things online unless you’re sure that it is legit. |
