Hello! Thanks for asking!
In fact, there are quite a few projects on the navigator, why choose the project itself, what is unique to it? Is it possible to work without the Internet?
BoatPilot is based on unique software components such as very accurate maps with pleasant size, easily updated by the users, wireless hardware module BoatGod for iOS and Android platforms, Pocket Skipper service app perfectly designed for advertising needs, and is absolutely free for all users.
And yes, BoatPilot works without the Internet, as every Tablet is equipped with GLONASS or GPS system that are enough for charting the route.
For comparising information of the products, see
https://www.boatpilot.io/docs/BoatPilot_White_Paper_EN.pdfWhat resolution do you use for the depths?
We have 1-meter resolution for depths up to 5 meters, and raising the resolution as depth increases. This does not affect navigational capabilities, but significantly enhances performance and reduces the amount of data stored and processed.
The most data suppliers (for example, OSM) have a coastline contour encoded as 1,000 curves with a resolution of 1 meter, but it is much more efficient to present it as 10 curves with a resolution of 100 meters without significant loss of accuracy. Depth charts can be presented with a vertical resolution of 0.1 meters, which is also clearly excessive for the private yachting sector.
Our algorithm will find and eliminate such redundancy, which in turn will cut the size of the database to a fifth.
Where i can looking process sale token ?
During the private placement we do not disclose information about the collected funds. We will definitely disclose this information closer to the start of the crowdsale (March 1) — to define the maximum ammount of the tokens for the crowdsale and, of course, to inform all participants.
In addition, we'll immediately notify, if the Soft Cap will be reached during the private placement. We'll write about this on the site and publish a press-release.
Kind regards,
BoatPilot team
