Hello! Thaks a lot for the questions!

How does the boatgod receive data from the yacht?

This module connects directly to the onboard system of any vessel, collects marine data, and transfers it via Wi-Fi. BoatPilot looks like a small USB hard drive and you can connect it with your yacht using universal port NMEA 2000 and NMEA 0183  - standard port for all chart plotters. Almost all yachts have this port.

is your bounty still available?

All the information concerning our bounty campaign you can find in a special thread on BitcoinTalk https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2802744.0
You can also join to our  Telegram bounty channel.

How can I give my feedback about your app?

You can use any channel placed at the bottom of our website for this purpose.

Kind regards,
BoatPilot team

Hi!

Tell me more about advertising, how will it look?

The person will be able to see the opportunities are possible/available marked on the map entering the marina - kind of dock, kind of restaurants and yacht services. We also offer ads related to geotagging. For example, you can go to the marina and receive a push notifications "welcome to the marina N, if you want to eat - here is a restaurant, we lit up it on the map. And in addition we will offer banners inside the app.

Is your navigator single-system (GPS) or two-system (GPS + GLONASS)?

BoatGod hardware is able to connect vessels equipped with a GLONASS and/or GPS geolocation device and transfer all the data obtained from the yacht board system to BoatPilot software via Wi-Fi.

So how do these ICOs work, practically speaking?

To raise funds for BoatPilot’s future development, we are launching an Token Generation Event (TGE), to offer NAVI tokens to the general public. The financial model assumes two possible courses of development and functionalities of BoatPilot. Both are based on the amount of funds raised through the TGE.
The TGE will be launched in two stages — closed and open. During the closed stage, which is often called pre-fund or private placement, BoatPilot will engage with private investors, funds and large market players. The minimum amount of NAVI tokens purchased during the closed stage is $25,000 (equivalent in ETH, BTC, BCH, LTC). There are provisions for bonuses reaching up to 50% or 100% of tokens purchased, and will be discussed on an individual basis.
The second stage of the TGE will be open to the public – anyone from cryptocurrency enthusiasts, to yachting professionals is welcome to participate.
You can find more in our White Paper.

Kind regards,
BoatPilot team

Hello! Thanks for the questions!

Is the token new and no other token offers the same service?

Yes, NAVI token is new and only NAVI offer the service.

Do you accept credit cards?

To become a participant of BoatPilot TGE it is necessary to buy NAVI tokens. The tokens' ticker on cryptocurrency exchanges is NAVI (ERC20 standard), the cost – $0.07 at the time of the TGE. The following cryptocurrencies are accepted: ETH (Ethereum), BTC (Bitcoin), BCH (Bitcoin Cash), and LTC (Litecoin). Please, contact us via e-mail invest@boatpilot.io to buy the tokens using alternative ways of payment during Private Placement of TGE.

How can I trace my NAVI?

You can find all the information about the quantity of NAVI you purchased in your account/profile on https://www.boatpilot.io/

Kind regards,

Hello!

What models of AR-glasses will be supported by your navigation program?
We implemented a separate app, modest in its resource demands, specifically for Epson AR glasses. We plan to significantly expand the list of supported AR headset manufacturers in 2018. It also should be mentioned that AR-devices might be awaited in case the Hard Cap is reached during the TGE.

Is there any video, demo or something similar where we could see the product?
Yes, there is. You can watch the presentation video about BoatPilot on our website or follow our YouTube channel.

How long does the bounty BoatPilot take?
The bounty campaign has been continued till the 15th of March, 2018.

Best wishes?
BoatPilot team.

Hello!

hello, nice project! but how the problem of incoming data and different edits simultaneously is going to be solved or processed?
Yes, many geographical objects have a set of user characteristics. Many users can add to or change these attributes, which leads us to the conflicts between editing and searching by an attribute value. Our platform will provide versioning and conflict resolution capabilities, using both a pessimistic strategy and manual data merging in the event of conflicting attribute changes. Additionally, our platform will automatically integrate incoming edits from trusted sources, provide an interface for manual analysis and comparison of edits, and determine the degree of trust based on the history of the source's edits and social  connections.

Hi! Maybe, it was discussed earlier, but what makes your product differ from others of this kind in the market?
BoatPilot is based on unique software components such as very accurate maps with pleasant size, easily updated by the users, wireless hardware module BoatGod for iOS and Android platforms, Pocket Skipper service app perfectly designed for advertising needs, and is absolutely free for all users. For comparising information of the products, see our White Paper.

Best wishes,
BoatPilot team.
