Bad news??? The market is emerging??? New laws Huh Or what?
The usual speculation of investors who decided to make money on the fall of the exchange rate. We will see more than one such fall, followed by a slow rise upwards.

It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

Bad news??? The market is emerging??? New laws Huh Or what?
It is just simply because the supply is high and demand is low. Out of fear of cryptocurrency exchanges sites ban of some countries many sold their bitcoin.

The uncertainty of bitcoin price is the major reason behind all this, the whales are in power for creating dips and yes due to a huge downfall of bitcoin alts also have survive certain dips.
Neither a bad nor good news, the market is still unpredictable because the huge investment is diversified, no new laws just a different approach of traders in the market with variety of coins.

as usual drop begins with altcoins than it continues with major ones. price drop started with small capped coins and not touching to ethereum much.
this is going to ethereum leadership in crypto coins. if ethereum continue to rise then king is going to change.

bitcoin need big correction after very big rising price.
Correction is your way to make profits, but in the opposite direction. Just as profits are made when the price rises to $ 15,000, you will make profits if the price drops to $ 7,000.

market growth and being one of the biggest markets in one year only.
crypo market need more correction and more correction.

Thus, the story will continue until we reach a certain level of stability, which will happen when the market capacities rise to a high extent.

More correction likely.
Expect at least a double bottom.
So 9k is in reach again.
If we can't hold this level, we will go down to 8k.
I would like to see the price to move up. But reality is we are still in the correction and as long we don't see any significant buying pressure pushing us up, I remain bearish.

We are bound to this drop as it was expected to drop in the price due to the fact that we are affected with their decision in blocking the crypto currencies in accessing to their local and offshore which has a material impact for us.
Although, this month was something big and we have encountered a big correction that would be just a temporary although hard to see that it would rise to $20k this month.

bitcoin likes to drop down about 1/4 from peak so we probably will see $5k again but $8k seems healthier unless huge push comes and then moons are back in sight

Don't think we will see 9k again, 8k at worst seems about right, it seems to be a testing of the bottom again, let's not forget that last time we reached around 9k with a lot worse news and FUD. I think the bottom this time will actually be higher, around the 10k level we are at about now.

Bad news??? The market is emerging??? New laws Huh Or what?
All the above could contribute towards the decline of the value of our coins but as for this new year 2018 i think laws(regulations) are whats putting stress on the market but once this gets out of the way we should be going to the moon.

Yes, the new laws and the banning from countries that were flourishing good on the cryptocurrency usage is the major reason for the ongoing price dump. Periodically the price gets retained making people understand the real scenario and believe in the price recovery and mark new ath.

Even if there are lot of countries that doesn't ban bitcoin still they have a big impact about the dumping of the price, we are all investors of it and we are contributing for the price of bitcoin and sad to say that one of the reason for the sharp dump of it was the creation of panic for all investors, whenever they are seeing bitcoin price slowly dumping they are beginning to worry about what they have and selling some of it or worst all of their coins.

Did you mean that the end of BTC is comming Huh
stop asking about the end of bitcoin cause its impossible to happen even before when bitcoin price fall into 6k there was no end how much more now cause as we see the price is not totally down and the price still expensive so there's no end as long many people using and holding bitcoin that ending will never exist.

What is simply going on in the market is just uncertainty especially with bitcoin, that then is giving altcoin some panic. Off course we should expect this dull moment for cryptos because bitcoin is the supreme.

Also, it should be expected after the whole bullish run withnessed from bitcoin. The shielding will continue until the fears go off.

I know this very well  Grin This is the opportunity to buy Wink
Yes, this is the opportunity to buy while the value is not that high. Volatility always creates opportunity. This drop in cryptocurrencies is normal because many governments threatens to ban trading sites and it creates fear to some.

Don't panic and seize the opportunity while you have the chance.

Bad news??? The market is emerging??? New laws Huh Or what?

There are two things that have contributed to this price drop. One is that periodically bitcoin has pretty big corrections, usually 30-50% before bouncing back up and a new bull season emerges. This time is no different. But that's not the only reason, it is also because of new laws.

Recently, Indonesia has basically said that it does not support bitcoin, and China has increasingly shown hostility towards bitcoin users, especially miners. These have all influenced the price movements a lot, meaning that people are dumping the coin like crazy right now.

But the good news is, the floor is $10k and it's rock solid. We've tested it 3 times already, and every time it reached $10k it has bounced back up.

You probably entered btc at a later time. If you've been here long enough, you'd know that btc is still way above its price a couple of months ago. People it seems, got too carried away when btc hit 20k usd that's why expectations are really high, so is the disappointment
