Now that the market has started to make a big adjustment, bitcoin is down nearly 100% from $20,000.
Other altcoins have fallen even more, and if the bear market comes, I think most of them will die.

That's the gamble you take buying altcoins. If you buy now and bitcoin recovers you could get big wins, but it's risky. Altcoins are cheaper because nobody knows which way bitcoin's going to go. I daren't guess if the correction will continue.

The market is very over evaluated. Coins dont have much utility right now, and most of these ICO's are shit. We will see a correction for sure.

I think the market correction is almost over, Bitcoin had great support at the 10,000 level and climbed after slipping below for a short time. There are some great prospect altcoins that are weathering the decline with style not everything is red day after day at the moment so pick the upcoming stars and you will do fine.

The bubble of the whole market is a little big, needs to be squeezed!
I love the correction, even a little big too.
But the correction is healthy to the whole market.
After the correction, there will be a bigger bull market,I believe that!

If the situation is so, then the market will recover in February or March later. I also believe that this is the right time if you want to buy back to add future assets.

We don't know, we can't tell it perfectly on what exactly going to happen but we can speculate base on the scenario's where are we right now.

Seen this comparison through a chart and it's likely history is repeating itself. The first wave that happened before the first contract of bitcoin futures closed and I assume it's the big correction for this year if not, the big correction that chanpinchen is saying can probably shake out not only those weak coins but the whole crypto market.

I am sad because I am pessimistic about the future development of the market. The reason is simple. You know, the heads of states in all countries have been eyeing the blockchain. On the one hand, they want to get the most out of the blockchain technology. On the other hand, they want to forbid BTC and various altcoin to a great extent The deal.

If there is a correction it will afect all coins not just the weak ones even tho i agree that there are a lot of usseles coins. Many are beliving that there will be one more correction that will push bitcoin under 8k$ but with the amount of tether being pushed out noone can really tell you what will happen

I personally love the corrections. I always forget each year and get caught off guard, but I take advantage of the bottom and double down on these big dips. Its counter intuitive, but ive been around this world since 2011, and the dips are the time to buy, not sell. Other than investing insome BAD ICOs Ive never lost money on crypto. Sure I sold too early on some stuff back in 2014, but we should look at the corrections as gifts to cost average down and strengthen our positions.

Also we have a ton of money that is itching to enter the market and cant. Bittrex, Kraken, Poloniex etc all closed off new registrations in early Dec. I have tons of friends wanting to get in and cannot. they are currently buying on ebay at 2x the price! We will see a surge as the infrastructure catches up and that new money hits the market. Plus Chinese New year will be over Feb 18 (?) and a lot of that money will flow back in.

1 its the underpinning to a new secure internet and blockchain isnt going away.
2 every top brain in tech, finance, and industry is implementing it (walmart, amazon, bank of america, visa, etc)
3 you cannot regulate a decentralized currency, especially when a vendor will give you a product for it without ever needing to convert to fiat.
4 governements may not be able to easily tax the decentralized nature of it, but they can tax all the companies building apps running on the blockchain and thats where the money really is.
5 blockchain can secure criminal history, credit history, birth and social security records, medial records, etc...the US government is already looking into adopting it heavily.
6 the stock market and SEC has allowed futures trading on it, and NASDAQ invest 75MM in Kraken

it aint going away - its the future of everything we know.

Well those corrections on market are pretty normal for the market is to be healthy. It's a healthy correction for the market to be more stable and we have nothing to worry about. Just don't open/check any exchanges and delete our blockfolio app for us to be not shaken off lol. Just kidding aside. Maybe 3-5 years from now those shitcoins will be shaken off and those who are realy have strong funda will stay.

To be honest no one knows exactly when the price will recover. But when we turn back the history there is downfall in the price at the early stages of every year.So maybe it is repeating in this year also if that case then the price will recover in the first quarter of 2018.So buy more coins as you can and enjoy more profits when the price bumps. Expect correction every now and then. Crypto in general is volatile - and it is absolute truth that it is always possible for your investments to go to 0 without notice, for the foreseeable future, until most govt bodies approve the concept. So, whenever you can, take out your original investment, and ride/play the rest.

As the others say, no one knows. Anyone who pretends to know how it goes is just adding his/her own interpretion after it happens.

Better must be correction than strong shut down. I have no idea why bitcoin still not growth above 12k after good news about LN.

it is time to buy worth coins to invest. Once the market green, take a step to make profit. It is good time to make profit when the jump and down is very high. I think if you watch the market it is great time to invest.
