I so much love the way you entitled your post.Anyway,more businesses are seeing the need to join the cryptorevolution and it isn't just amazon alone.The only limiting factor now is the extreme price volatility which makes some people feel there is the need for regulation before most enterprises can venture into it.

   You are right! But what makes a currency stable? I am a bit old so I searched a bit and I found something
great, that I need to share with you. What makes a currency stable:
-it should be a global reserve currency (that is a strong sign of stability because many countries would need it)
-its liquidity should be high
-it should have a strong demand
-its country (issuer) should have a strong economy
-it should be linked to gold (or something valuable)
   I think that some crypto-currencies can fulfill this demands in the future. Amazon alone
fulfilling more then half, they can make their own alt-coin and they can control the price.

   In the end I wish to highlight something that I saw on same place, what makes a currency stable?
-So this would be the answer - the illusion makes a currency stable - the illusion that it has a value.
The stronger the illusion gets, the more stable the currency will become.
-The US dollar maintained this illusion even if its purchasing power constantly drops.

I think more and more renowed companies will get into crypto's. At least to be talked about and profit from the actual hype. Look at Kodak, the annoucement of launching a Coin + the miner raise the shares value almost instantly

If they do decide to adopt cryptocoins then everything will rise - especially bitcoin. But i suspect they are just doing it for brand protection otherwise someone else will simply copy them. One day they they probably will because they are certainly missing the boat! but as he's the richest man in the world already, missing the boat is not really a big deal

I think it is too early to say if Amazon will accept cryptocurrencies. But yes, if it does that, no one is stopping cryptos to become more valuable, more mainstream. Right now some companies accept Bitcoin, but the craze is not enough as Bitcoins are damn slow for transactions. But if Amazon adopts coins like Litecoin, Steem etc. then it can certainly provide quick crypto transactions to its customers.

There are so many options for Amazon. Would be nice to see them accept Bitcoin, but we are still a bit away. Cryptocurrency is just getting into a more popular phase, we have to be at least 5 years out of the way.

Bitcoin wont be a good option,the tx fee will suck all of people's money.You dont want to buy something worth $20 then you will pay a extra $80 with bitcoin?plus the tx confirmations will take a lot of time just to buy something? no unless bitcoin's lightning network will be implemented soon.

I agree bitcoin network is not ideal now. But over time, we will see quick and inexpensive transactions. Time has already come. The point of no return is passed.

I strongly doubt that move will force the popularity of crypto currency. The BTC is been discussed on the TV for the past few years and probably everybody heard about it. And still the crypto currency isn't a mass phenomenon.
