Ah, gotcha.

At the time that I checked it was:

1000mh = 0.06921btc (24hours actual)

According to my hashrate reported by zpool @ 15mh would be

15mh = 0.00103815 btc per 24 hours.

It's only been 9.5 hours since my last payout and im already at 0.00074723 BTC (total unpaid balance) so it looks ahead of schedule.

The one thing im noticing with this algo is my actual balance is still quite low with majority of shares pending at immature or at exchange.

Is this happening for you too?

Yep;  and different algos/ports will show different ratios of "overhead" earnings in the works.    Once you mine more than one or two solid for a stretch, youll start to notice the differences between them, and correlate profitability to the size of the split in the two lines.

I'm not sure I understand this part:

Quote

-One or two different algorithms? or coins? I thought on zpool we could only mine the algo and the pool picks the coin.
-What is the split in the 2 lines?

Sorry to keep cluttering the thread Sad

no worries.   Algos;  once you mine this one for a while, you will notice the graph as your earnings add up.  How it behaves when profitability is low, and how it behaves when profitability is high.

Once you mine a different algo like lyra2v2, you will see a whole new pattern of earnings accrual.

The two lines I refer to are the two lines in your wallet page graphs on the left.  The thin line being the "total earned" or "total unpaid", and the solid one/area below it being the "total confirmed" or "balance".

you can only count on the "balance" as a final earnings you are guaranteed cause its already been sold to the exchange or any miners wanting to be paid in whatever coins we mine... but total unpaid gets you a pretty close guess based on past TX's/sales.

Gotcha! Everything makes sense now, thank you for clarifying.

https://www.zpool.ca/?address=1LsaacGbkgT2uPcL2WunEK9qBY77VaGSgv

Looks like 24hrs actual balance is now 0.00121552 - this is more than what I was getting with the Zpool GUI miner which was roughly between 0.0009 - 0.0011 per 24hours (with 2x1080ti + 1x1070)

Is Xevan profitability good/bad/average right now from your experience?

good to average right now.   Things can change though... just gotta keep an eye on what people are talking about; and watching the algos on zpool stats to see where the bulks of hashrate jump to now and then.

Takes a while to figure out.

I don’t like zPool at all. On my mind it is better to use some others services. These are for example Minigpoolhub, Hash refinery, Granat gas. I used to work here. Nice services, no problems with them.

Currently seeing this - is that something on my end or its having trouble getting something from your end?

Miner seems to be uninterrupted.

On a side note seems like xevan went a bit downhill the last day and half mining wise.

Well, I saw nice gains ~16 hours ago up to a few hours ago... and now a run of bad luck....    It seems to stay more consistent than NIST5 so far... im planning on keeping my miners on xevan for now until things change.   XLR seems to be up in value recently as well.

That alert is just because; for whatever reason, the batch was unable to contact the hosting server for the algo name....   may have been your connection, may have been tripod... im unsure exactly what at the moment... but it should have started to show up correctly again.... did it?   My machines are currently able to access it fine.

Seems like multi algo switching can't keep up with mining a stable algo like xevan.

It pretty much same place in the list as always.

I tested out the latest release of the zpool gui miner, aka Hashkings Milti Miner for the last couple of days and this graph is the result lol.

https://www.zpool.ca/?address=1LsaacGbkgT2uPcL2WunEK9qBY77VaGSgv

I dunno if its bugs or something else it many times relaunches the same miner, mining the same algo..but having to ramp up the hashrate over sometimes minutes.

Anyway, seems like im coming back to xevan lol, profit switching seems really great in theory but it doesn't seem to do better than this.

Yep, my thoughts exactly.    Profit switching was great before all the asics and before there were soo many high diff coins.   Once there were more high diff coins;  boom, that algo is no longer good for autoswitching.   Kind of strange, but a truth of the situation.

I haven't been swayed to change up my mining algo just yet....  xevan has been paying consistent and well.

Im about half way done with incorporating auto-algo switching into the manual batch.... and still at the beginning of testing sgminer with an AMD card to get the batch conformed to AMD configs.... but its been progress nonetheless.

Nothing besides a youtube I upload complete randomness to sometime.   I only use FB to talk to family across the US, and have never been much of a blogger =)
